No-one at Sisu has the vision to know that he would be a great signing for us. Even if the embargo was lifted tomorrow, I doubt there would be any move for him from CCFC - our owners are not interested in football except to sell players.

Cameron improved as the season went on. Next season I think he will continue to improve and be up against lesser players. He could do really well in D1 which will do wonders for his confidence, which in turn will help his improvement. He could become a really good player for us.

It seems to me that his message to the fans is: 'If we don't have a competitive squad next season, it's your fault for not buying season tickets'. Presumably, therefore, Sisu are blameless................

OSB, am I right in thinking that 'due diligence' is a two way street? I can understand that Sisu want to see the books on the Ricoh to see what they would get; but can ACL see Sisu's books to find out if they have the money to support their bid? I find it strange that Sisu would open their books...

I firmly believe that Sisu will promise anything to the council in terms of investing in CCFC if it helps them get their hands on the Ricoh. They will then break those promises and so will ensue long and costly litigation, ultimately won by Sisu. If ACL, the council or anyone else involved let...

This story about the academy is (if true) most worrying. We would not be able to attract the most talented youngsters, even if the training they would get is excellent. However, on the bright side, I'm sure that in the spirit of 'transparency' we can soon expect a truthful statement from Tim...

Platt always gave 100%. He got kicked around but never gave up. D1 will see even more physical defending - who will we have up front who can take that? The spivs at Sisu won't replace him, so we'll have someone from the academy up front. Thanks, Joy.

Despite this bloke's unspoken (but obvious) opinion of Sisu's management up to now, it sounds like a deal with Sisu could be on the cards. I think that this would be a disaster for CCFC.

I agree, BSB, and have alluded to that in a different thread. I am sure that CT are afraid of upsetting Sisu, and perhaps have already been warned off.
