Palmer appears to be growing into this team. If he can stay fit could be a big player for us this season. I worry about his natural athleticism, but his technical ability is very good.

First watched him in the friendly with Rangers and thought he looked great and extremely technically proficient. Didn't think he'd turn into the player that he was by the playoff final. Good luck to him, recruitment team have their hands full bringing someone else in.

How come? He's never been bothered about ball retention, that's what makes him interesting as a centre mid. He wants to 'try' stuff. That's why sometimes it's shite and sometimes it's great haha.

I think Grimes is a great player and would be a good signing, but also, I'm inclined to very much agree. I imagine the recruitment team have planned for this though.

Would prefer it if we signed an actual footballer... He hasn't got the skills required to do anything more than defensive midfield. Grimes would be good in a possession based team, not particularly exciting and a lower ceiling due to his age and also doesn't score many goals.
