Yea but we changed shape after McCann went off. We started as a 433 but after the injury went 4231 with lameiras pushed into number 10 and Reid went out wide. And it worked didn't it, lameiras played a big part in both goals and we went on to win 2-0 and never really looked like conceding.

Why was rose the obvious choice, Reid's pace was vital for the counter attack plan which worked perfectly.

Yea we didn't pass and move the ball well but it was still a comfortable win, Rochdale never really looked like scoring and nearly all of the clear cut chances fell to us.

Why is rose what was needed? We didn't bring him on and won the game comfortably without really looking too troubled.

Agyei should have had a hat trick today and jones should have probably scored late on also, as well as the two goals we actually scored They had one set piece cleared off the line.

How long have we moaned about having lots of possession going backwards and sideways and then the defence and attackers letting us down. How often has it been said we need to be better in both boxes, today we were and yet all some can do is moan. That Rochdale display was actually typical of a...

So maybe it was the game plan to stifle there attacking threat and then pick them off on the counter when the opportunity presented itself, in that respect the game plan worked perfectly and Venus gets a 10.

It was average from us today but I think you're going a bit over the top Otis. For all their domination Burge didn't have a meaningful save to make due to our strong defending, and then we picked them off smartly on the counter to grab our goals. Admittedly not the way we want to play at home...

tbf McBean couldn't be a worse option on the bench than Tudgay.

I don't understand this idea that Lameiras gets stuck in, I've always thought of him as a bottler in the tackle and afraid to put his head where it could get hurt. He plays the dark arts of the game. He winds opposition players up, he dives and feigns injuries to try and get opposition players...

The one where they hit the cross bar and Burge was about 15 yards out of his goal as he came for a cross he had no chance of getting. I wouldn't really describe it as a flap as he was nowhere near reaching the ball. Is that the one you are talking about
