You might be right, but I don't like these whispers and hints; if they know something, or have heard something, it is their duty as impartial local journalists (especially the BBC) to follow it up doggedly and report on it (i.e. not just accept the "NDA" excuse). Obviously I have no expectations...

It was me asking that question, taking Pete's lead from the last couple of weeks. We need to keep asking it - it is the fundamental question. We need to keep pressuring the local media into doing their job properly.

Match Thread Coventry City v Bristol Rovers - Tuesday 14th January 2020

Usual downgrading in importance of the FA cup I expect. Also from memory I don't think there are replays from 5th round onwards - not 100% sure on that though.

No it won't - 5th round is on the Wednesday..

It worked on a friend's phone at the Lincoln game; I shall try it tonight, am in a particularly daring mood.

    Proposed press release

Also happy to put my name on it.

How do we legitimise our voice?

Absolutely. I meant to say we should do that once only, when we have a "final" version of it. Suggest DM it to me when you're happy, and I'll tidy it and DM it back.

How do we legitimise our voice?

Pete, great effort, thank you on behalf of all like-minded supporters. My only comment would be to tidy up spelling & punctuation; this is important for a press release. If you don't pay attention to this then it gives other parties a stick to beat you (us) with. I'm happy to help if needed...

Very confused - which of these three items didn't you realise?

    4th round tie.

If you hadn't noticed, we have effectively been evicted from our home due to the stadium owner's outrageous demand for an indemnity that no business on earth would/could agree to. Why on earth do you think the stadium owner would now change it's position for a one-off?

    4th round tie.

    Zero. Daft question.

    Is this our year ?

That's insane. The continued recovery of the club depends on maintaining the momentum created over the last 3 seasons. We may or may not be promoted, but hoping we don't go up is madness; this league is so tight, with so many 'big' clubs that it may be years before we get another opportunity as...

Any chance of shifting this thread over to the "Ricoh row" forum? It's got bugger all to do with football...

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

The debate is hypothetical. He looked out of his depth during his rare appearances in League 2 and Robins isn't going to pick him in League 1. Simple really.

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Weird suggestion, but in that case, the same question - why? If/when he returns he will at best be 5th (probably 6th) choice striker now they are all fit.

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Which is also when his loan ends. "Coventry City striker Jordan Ponticelli has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan. Ponticelli joins fellow League One side Rovers initially until 1st January 2020. Jordan will not be eligible to play for Tranmere against Coventry City".

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Why? He's not eligible to play against us. And the game is on January 1st.

    L&W supporters club meeting tonight

Christ, if we're picking up on that sort of spelling mistake then there are much bigger fish to fry on here..
