Or even a centre right government.

    Oliver Dovin

Hes plenty good enough to be on the bench as back up for Rushworth. In fact its a good job we kept him around. If we keep Rushworth on, past his loan, then obviously Wilson moves on once Dovin is fit. (Or maybe Dovin moves on?) Until then we should be grateful hes available.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

There needs to be a third "viable" option Pete, im not saying reform are the answer, but the answer sure as hell ain't another Labour or Tory government. If reform do get in at the next election, it will be because the other parties have lost the trust of the people. Thats a damming...

    Latibeaudiere

He had a glorious chance first half and really should of scored. Second half there wasn't the room for him to use his pace as we sat back and put bodies behind the ball. In hindsight they should of had a big centre forward to bring on to challenge for crosses as it became too comfortable for...

Match Thread Coventry City - Swansea City Match Thread - Friday 26th Dec

Can't believe some of the negativity on here just lately. We've had a full week to prepare, and get over the runny noses, so we will have players back, rested and ready to go. Time to get back to the free scoring we saw earlier this season. Someone's due a spanking, and the Swans might be...

That second half was ideal for both Lats and Woolfy, neither had to leave the penalty box, so they were never going to be caught out for a lack of pace or mobility. Also Southampton didn't have much of a aerial threat, so didn't cause us to much trouble other than set pieces. Things might...

A home game against Swansea would be the ideal time to give him a start. If he isnt considered good enough to be in the team for that game then we really need to be asking questions.

    Transfer Rumour Dan Neil

He only turned 24 a fortnight ago, so theres still time for him to develop, even though hes already captained Sunderland and played 200 games in his career. I'd trust Lampard to make him a premier league player by next August, and at the very least hed be a decent player to have on the bench.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Wouldn't that put us 2 players over our maximum squad number?

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Wages would be a big problem I'd imagine, I'd expect him to be earning a lot more than we would be willing to pay.

    Transfer Rumour Dan Neil

His contract is up at the end of the season, so a loan till then makes sense, it gives him a chance to get game time, and help us get over the line, while keeping every sides options open.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

1 winger who can play on either wing would be ideal. And a DM who can cover Grimes/Torp Wright can also cover EMC (with Simms up front) if needs be. BTA should be back before the window closes so that adds more cover to the squad. I'd sooner see quality than quantity added, and depending on...

    David Walliams

There's always been something a little "odd" about David Walliams IMHO. Put it this way, you wouldn't want him anywhere near children unsupervised.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

He should of had 2 pens in that time though. And did get a player sent off against Preston, he also has a goal chalked off when EMC was given offside, and hes come up against goalkeepers who have played out of their skin. He is in a dry spell, but hes has no luck either.

True, although I have a feeling the club might be sold if we do get promoted. It would make sense for Doug to sell then as the club and facility would be at its highest value, and he might look to cash out and let someone with deeper pockets take over. (No idea who's out there though, maybe...

I'd like to see us invest some serious money in a proper premier league class training facility, then maybe Ryton could be used as a top level academy set up. That would set up our infrastructure to be competitive with the bigger PL clubs.

with 3 key players missing with flu, and BTA out with injury, and with the sending off leaving us with only 10 men, Saints still couldnt manage to beat us! Even with all their Premier league experience and parachute money! Our squad may be short in numbers, but there is plenty of quality...

You wouldn't believe that reading some of the comments. If we do go up this season I think a lot of people are going to be very suprised by the quality and speed of the PL

    Ephron Mason Clark

Hes a frustrating player to watch, even in this division. He has improved, but only into a championship player from a L1 player. Every time he has a good game his fan boys come on here and make out hes the next Bukaya Saka, he's not! I firmly believe he would be be little more than an...
