    This Point In (Christmas) Time

I agree we are not far away and according to the reports we played very well against Swindon. Conceding two late goals in a game is a lack of concentration.

remember folks the clear aim for this season was and still is staying up

We are fans of the year!

I'll say it again. I will not tolerate watching my team play home matches 35 miles away from Coventry. It's just wrong.

    Lack of ambition

I would hope we are in the Championship by then at the very least but do I expect it? No. Ive supported this club for a long time and I havent seen us finish in the top 6 of any league. I hope I am wrong but I don't think we will get promoted this year either.

    Lack of ambition

Otis, I understand your point of view but I've seen 2 posts from you where you say 'If we are top of the league'. Although that is possible when have we ever been top of the league? We as a club can be ambitious but also realistic. We don't need a 32,000 seater stadium in current times. I would...

    Lack of ambition

OK so thats 8 games in 23 home games. For me that stat is not a concern. If it was me I would start on 18-20,000 but I don't have an issue with starting on 12K.

    Cardiff City & Vincent Tan

Anyway I can't stand Cardiff as a club, they can fuck off.

    Lack of ambition

I really don't understand why people think 12,000 isnt enough to start with? Our average attendances for the last year or two have been 10-11,000. I would rather a full house every week with a good atmosphere than a 32,000 empty shell which was the downside to the Ricoh! Grow the ground with...

    Cardiff City & Vincent Tan

Absolute disgrace the treatment Malkay Mckay is getting.

    It will never happen...

Heres my view. We need to own our stadium. Preferably the Ricoh but it doesnt look like it will happen. So we need a new stadium in Coventry. I am fully aware that for certain games we can generate 25-30,000 fans but on a regular basis we get 10,11K so a 12000 stadium is understandable. Surely...

We should support the new stadium

First stadium designs always make me smile because they never end up looking like it. The first Ricoh designs was a 40,000 seater with a roof and retractable pitch!

    It will never happen...

Could be scare mongering but you don't know 100% that its all bollocks. The club needs to own its stadium so if they do build one in the coventry area that we own then I am all for it.

    MAthIEU MANSET

I would have to agree with SP here. It doesnt seem the case that Manset actually gave two shits to be honest. I'd rather he go and we get someone in who is hungry for it.

we could be on to somethign big if we ever sort this bloody mess out!

Although I generally agree with your comments, I do feel in general there are fans that take on board a 'doom and gloom' attitude now regardless of how things are/look. There is always hope and always a possibility of a turn in fortunes. If you always remain down in the dumps you will get nowhere.

All the very best to GR. Done wonders for our Academy and left it in a good state.

    Choices..

Big question for me is Christie. Has his head gone? or is he not 100%? Probably a yes to both but from what I read on CET a contract offer has been on the table for a bit now and he hasnt signed..Not blaming the lad at all but if hes hearts not in it......

I have a feeling this match fixing scandal will open a can of worms.
