Match Thread Norwich City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Christ talk about an overreaction. We went into this game on a 10 match unbeaten run. That run had to end at some point. There were times last year where we played far worse than we have today

Why do all our games against these always feel chaotic?

    We're in Safe Hands

It was to do with us agreeing a deal to buy Eastwood, but wolves still owed him money. How I remember it is that at the point of the deal between the two clubs, we announced it was a done deal. Wolves then told us to wait until they agree his payment, at which point we accused Wolves of...

    We're in Safe Hands

I’m sure when we bought Freddy Eastwood (not long after Sisu took over) that Mick McCarthy said we were the most unprofessional club he’s ever dealt with. Now we’re getting the opposite things said about us.

    We're in Safe Hands

We aren’t going to spend £200m on a new 30k seater stadium at Warwick Uni when we have a perfectly good stadium at the CBS. If ownership is that important we could buy the CBS at a far lower amount than a new one. And who would use a new stadium anyway? Concerts/gigs in Coventry would choose...

Without wanting to sound dramatic, but those double doors are exit gates. Fridays venue demonstrates the risks involved in letting people enter through exit gates

I think the checks are a joke. It’s those which cause the queues. Do they really need to riffle through an 80 year old woman’s handbag looking for a flick knife?

I would be wary about moving away fans. Yes where they are isn’t ideal, but if you start reconfiguring the ground you risk losing the atmosphere that has taken 19 years to develop. Just halving the south stand and getting home fans in there alongside the away fans is the best approach

If for the rest of the season we don’t have a lot of fixture changes, season ticket sales are likely to be unaffected. People will forget about how ridiculous the first half of the season has been. Interestingly with attendances being high across the board a lot of clubs are concerned with...

It’s shocking that this element of the ground was so poorly designed in the original spec.

Simple fact is this is the authorities trying to pass the book. Police and stewards are employed to identify this type of behaviour. If they aren’t doing their job properly then it isn’t up to the fans to do it for them. If someone misbehaves then they should be removed and if necessary...

    Doug King's radio interview

Only up to a point. It’s easy to be all pious about this, but a family with kids wanting to enjoy the game does not have a responsibility to take on some racist yobs. All this talk of playing behind closed doors is a nonsense as well. Pretty sure collective punishment is considered to be a...

This is where the old social class system from Highfield Road needs to be revived for the Arena. Everyone knew where they would fit in with that. West Terrace - Scum class Family Stand - Chavs who had about 10 kids each but wanted to keep their noses clean East Stand - Old fashioned working...

As a season ticket holder you should be responsible for your own seat. If you break it you should pay for it to be fixed or have to sit on a spike for the rest of the season

In fairness whoever made that helicopter banner is clearly good at making them. Without agreeing with it’s content the quality of the banner looked very professional
