    Empty seats

You will obviously still have a seat [emoji2357]. They are not reintroducing terraces, just adding a rail between each row. I’m not sure how much consultation is needed for that in an area which is 99% unsafe standing at the moment. Just get on with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Empty seats

Agreed re parking, there’s always something available. And who on earth expects free parking for a sporting event with 20-30k attending? [emoji2371] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But the change isn’t retrospective, so Chelsea can continue to amortise their existing contracts over 8 years (or whatever the length of the contract). In fact, Chelsea voted in favour of the change, thus preventing anyone else copying them. The maximum amortisation period going forward is 5...

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Wednesday 13th Dec

Ok, it was nothing to do with the water in the tunnel. It was just stewards being knobs for no apparent reason just to make you walk another 50 yards. Bastards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Wednesday 13th Dec

I left after the players had been round in front of block 16, is that ok? When I got to the underpass the left side was flooded, the right side wasn’t. Some muppets were hauling themselves up onto the steps using the hand rail to avoid the water at the bottom. There were no stewards in sight...

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Wednesday 13th Dec

After the game the left hand side of the second tunnel and the bottom of the steps were under six inches of water. I didn’t see any stewards there but common sense made the ramp a better option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Leeds away - £45

It’s not an option for the many of us who don’t live in Coventry. Vouchers are fine as a gesture (as long as they are valid for a decent length of time) and are fair to everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fine for those that use the coaches but hardly fair on the majority who don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Four out of five home games at night

You still haven’t said what you think is recent. The 3 specific years that I’ve quoted were selected at random as I knew international breaks have been a fixture for at least 15-20 years, it’s clearly even longer than that. Please check any of the other years in between and I’m sure you’ll find...

Four out of five home games at night

I don't want to have a debate, but this is nonsense. If 2010 isn't recent to you, how about 2003? Or 1998? Our games were disrupted by international breaks in both of those years and no doubt those years in between, so to say international breaks are only ""recently" the norm" is just plain...

Four out of five home games at night

Good for you. Leaving aside the power of the people nonsense, can you share their explanation of why our games were chosen? 3 of them were/are midland derbys so that might have something to do with it or is it deeper and more complicated than that? Agree next season will be better pre-Christmas...

Four out of five home games at night

What do you mean by “recently”? A quick check on our fixtures shows that there were international breaks in the Championship at least as far back as autumn 2010 and that has been consistent for PL & Championship since at least that time. It obviously didn’t affect us in Leagues 1 & 2, but this...

Four out of five home games at night

You might be right. A lot depends on whether Sky are going to show PL & Championship games in parallel or not. They have been generally reluctant to do this until now, but the sheer quantity means they might have to double up. If they don’t double up then Thursday night and Sunday night (18:30?)...

Four out of five home games at night

The additional “rearranged for TV” games will likely be within the Friday-Sunday period so hopefully not too bad from a school perspective. I guess there is an outside chance that they might use Thursday nights as part of the “weekend” fixtures. There will be the usual number of scheduled...
