Because I'm a glory supporter, clearly...
Moved down when I was four. My dad brainwashed me in Dec 1983 with the assurance that Coventry were better than Liverpool, and then proceeded to 'prove' it with MOTD footage from Highfield Road. We're still not talking.
Mine starts tonight at the Bob Lucas Stadium - Weymouth vs Frome Town in the Southern Premier Division.
This will be the first time in a few seasons that I have had much interest in my local side. Well done SISU, you have boosted the attendance tonight by 1.
Come On You Terras!
My opinion was based on SISU being gone. I can't see us returning under their 'leadership' given that their strategy is clearly to put ACL out of business.
I would rather start next season in L2 at the Ricoh than the Championship at Northampton. If the overwhelming majority of supportes don't agree then we really are in the shit.
I was there, aged 11. My most vivid memory was sitting in my seat at the final whistle saying to myself over and over, "Coventry City - FA Cup winners" and thinking how odd it sounded.
