Offences and sanctions If, when a free kick is taken, an opponent is closer to the ball than the required distance, the kick is retaken unless the advantage can be applied; but if a player takes a free kick quickly and an opponent who is less than 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball intercepts it...

When a quick free kick is taken the 10 yard rule does not apply, it would only apply if Mcnulty had deliberately obstructed Clarke from taking the free kick.

Btw I don't think the argument that the keeper played on matters, he didn't really have a choice he had to play to the whistle. He could have tried to do a barthez of all those years ago where he just stood still with his arm up and let di canio score an easy goal

I dunno if Clarke's intention was to take the free kick or give it to the keeper to take. But it's a lesson learned for Grimsby, clarke should have left the ball if he wanted the keeper to take it, ref had no choice but to allow the goal.

Clarke actually dummies to take the free kick long before he taps it back. Looks a good goal to me

Only reason I can see why it hasn't been confirmed is that Leicester don't want it to go to tribunal

    Juergen Turdbull

So basically no one wanted him and he didn't have enough confidence in himself to make himself a free agent

He could sign the contract with whoever and whenever he wants, it would be down to the clubs to then either agree a compensation package or send it to a tribunal if it can't be agreed. CCFC aren't holding up the signing as we are powerless to stop it. If the deal is agreed between Leicester...

Thomas is out of contract, he could have signed for whoever he wanted weeks ago.

Yes, decent return for an attacking midfielder. Not the stats you would expect of the best player in the division for half a season which was outrageously suggested

    Kyle Reid

Kyel Reid can get lost, awful character and attitude. Quicker we get rid of him the better
  16. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Kyle Reid

He was good for the first half of the season but best player in the division is so far from the truth
  17. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Kyle Reid

1 goal in his first 16 games Then he had his hot spell where he scored 6 in 3 games Then 3 goals on his final 23 games
  18. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Kyle Reid

You are joking right? He wasn't even the best player in the city team for half a season, never mind the division

    When football banned women

When football resumed after the world war Chelsea men's team had a 70k crowd in 1920 v Aston villa. The same year in which the dick Kerr ladies had the 53,000 attendance v Everton ladies, which was at the height of the womens game back then and appears to be the choice of match to highlight and...

    When football banned women

I think it was wrong of the fa to ban womens football. But as for, the womens game was more popular. Was this not largely because of the fact men's football was suspended during the first world war?
