There won’t be more weekend matches as there will still be approximately the same number of weekends available. However there will be many more live matches (double the current number?) and the “weekend” will be stretched (possibly even to Thursday when there are no scheduled midweek games?)...

Last time the championship fixtures finished on a Saturday (2021/2022) all the fixtures were moved forward to 12:30 kick off

Of course they won’t. It is a Premier League sanction, not EFL. If the charge is proven they will be deducted points in their next season in the PL (so probably next season).

Maybe they’re waiting to put QPR on sale until they know exactly when the game is going to be played. It’s certainly not going to be at the time currently advertised.
