Play two up and get over-run (blame Godden etc) or Howley etc in midfield and create little for Vik, who always has 2 or 3 on him kicking lumps out of him. Since when has acute appendicitis been an injury? Can happen to anyone. The foot aside his injuries have been the sort that anyone gets. I doubt there's a manager in the Championship or in L1 who would take Walker over Godden.

I say he probably needs 8-10 starts after missing that much. Don't underestimate injury and lost fitness, think about how long preseason is.

Very true. People here seem to think it's easy coming back a bit too early from injuries and having to play yourself fit because there's nobody else.

It's got us well under two points per game. 10th place on 68pts is 16 more points than now (52 pts) in 11 games, that is only 1 1/2 pts per game. Two wins gets us on target. I doubt that 71 points will be enough for 6th place but that's not the discussion just now.

Hopefully King is working on income streams and how we can fund wages for a normal Championship squad. The recent accounts show us nowhere near that yet, with a losses in excess of £6m and with record season ticket sales. Without ownership of the stadium it's going to be very difficult.
