I was also in Block 31 and from there it was clear that the ref got it wrong - it seems from some other comments that it wasn't so clear from other angles so perhaps he was unsighted.

    The truth

Do you remember people saying that we wouldn't miss Keogh and Cranie because of all the central defenders we have?

    Footballers

Happy memories - that was a few weeks before the Arsenal Boxing Day game which was probably just about the high point, then Froggat was finished by Sunderland (have I ever mentioned that I hate Nicky Summerbee?), we lost the Charlton cup game after being 2-0 up and it's been downhill ever since...

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

I know that your tongue is in your cheek - but it's a very smart move. It's been expected that they'll be going for a float in the next year or two and whatever your personal views, Hoffman will give them serious credibility in the City.

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

Think he might be a bit too busy now - it was announced yesterday that he's the new CEO of Hastings Insurance.

    Callum Ball on SBP

Personally I'm in favour of the disciplined approach, however.... anyone remember the stories of unrest in the club because AB was so regimented in the way everything was done. When Thorn came in and "treated players as grown ups", that seemed to get a positive reaction. Then people get used...
