Lol I see what you are saying, but I am not going to jump to conclusions and suggest they sent them back because 5000 protesting looks better on them than 8000+ (obviously it does but to what extent)!

The reaction from fans after it was announced that it was on BT sport on friday night would have suggested limited ticket sales though I would have thought.

This is the issue I guess, if you have bought your away tickets from the other club and there is no trace through CCFC of your purchase the only way you could get a ticket today would be if you went to the shop with stubs.

If Arsenal know they can sell out the stadium with just home fans they are not going to wait to see if Cov can sell 8000 tickets before pulling the plug. This was the worst game to have for any hardcore NOPM people (there are still a few around) because even if you had decided not to go to Arsenal it is the realisation that this is the biggest pay day of the year for them whether you like it or not.
