The performance last night makes criticism of effort levels in the previous 7 games all the more valid. We knew they were not playing to their full potential

Why would I do that?

It wasn’t about being overly negative or dramatic. Today’s performance shows that most of the criticism on here was justified. When the players show effort, they get praise. When they show laziness, they get criticism. I don’t think that is strange

If anything it should be even stronger in the younger players. A player in his 30s has already reached his peak. Those in their 20s should be pushing themselves to be the best player they can be

I think what is important to remember is that whatever happens with MR over the next few weeks, the journey isn’t over for us. The club is in the best shape it’s been for at least 40 years.

We need 4 points out of these 2 games, and more importantly we need a performance from the players. Anything less and we’ll be heading into November in the relegation zone. At that point we’ll struggle to turn it around as we know these players are incapable of dealing with pressure

Doug King needs to do one of two things IMO 1. Give Robins absolute free rein to control all aspects of the playing side. Coaches should be chosen by him. 2. Sack him.
