"Chris Stokes is also expected to make his long-awaited come-back to the senior team after nearly ten months out with a knee injury - having come through 90 minutes unscathed in the Under-23s last week - on a night when new signings Nathan Clarke and Kevin Foley are cup-tied, Jordan Turnbull...

Stokes is available, as is Harries now he has returned so our backline suddenly doesn't look too bad.

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

They are going to struggle to replace Hogans goals, even if he does go for £15 mill. They might not have too much more leeway to improve their offer for Stevenson

    More players coming in...ideas?

Just been reading about how he came to sign for Arsenal and effectively it came down to a chance decision by Brian McDermott to attend a Sheff Wed u23 game because he had a free afternoon and Brammal just happened to be having a trial there at the same time. I’m not sure you can legislate for...

Id take £1.5 mill up front. Rising to £10 mill with add ons plus a 30% sell on clause :p

Speaking of which Hepburn-Murpy is supposedly available again after refusing to sign a new Villa contract. Could be worth another go (on loan that is)

    More players coming in...ideas?

I had the same thought when i saw Stead's name in that list. County are knee deep in shite as well so it probably wouldn't take too much to tempt him away. Would be nice to go for a younger player who could do a few seasons though.

It would be nice if it was one of Stevenson or Willis/Harries that goes, rather than every player who receives interest being sold.

Didn't we pay a similar amount for Jones though? not beyond the realms of possibility.

Thinking about our keeper problem.............. Josh Lillis at Rochdale might be an option. He's been there a while now and appears to be slipping behind Conrad Logan in the pecking order (although both keepers have played a decent amount of games for Dale this season to be fair) and could be...

    Leon Clarke

Keith Hill won't sign a player like Clarke, not his style. Besides which Dale are about to get a healthy windfall when Brentford flog Scott Hogan for £15 million plus.....

i'm happy to let Haynes/DKE fill the left back void until Stokes is ready if that means funds are freed up for a right winger/striker/Willis replacement if needed etc.
