What’s with the trend of ….

They looked straight at me and my wife before standing in front of us - they knew exactly what they were doing and didn't need eyes in the back of their heads! I didn't bother asking them - what's the point? They knew what they were doing and had made their decision. I couldn't be arsed for...

    Third Kit Incoming

I NEVER wear football tops out unless I'm going to a match or actually playing 5-a-side etc but I've decided to wear my new 3rd kit top in to work today and a couple of Pompey fans I know have said how nice the top is. Genuinely think it's one of the best tops I've ever bought!

What’s with the trend of ….

Reminds me of when Mrs WM and I went to see Noel Gallagher at Pompey Guildhall earlier in the year. She's shorter than me. We get to the gig and a couple of songs in we find a good vantage point where we've got a good view of the main man and the stage. These two fellas, must both be over 6ft...

    CCFC Women Side

I do agree to be fair. I get the argument about 'every penny should do into the mens side' etc but having a good womens team will get more females interested in the club over the long term. One of the womens clubs we work with is Watford WFC. They got relegated from the Championship last season...

    CCFC Women Side

I wouldn't say so to be fair. Budgets in the Womens Championship then the two regional divisions below that aren't massive. You could be become a decent Championship side without spending millions.

    Is Anyone Else Feeling....

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/extra/7ruba7shs4/the-slow-death-of-the-screamer I think this article on the BBC today nicely sums up your feelings mate.

    Is Anyone Else Feeling....

Still positive. We're normally relatively crap starters to a season but work it out so I'm not concerned. Of course I'd prefer to start the season but hitting the ground running, 9 points from 9 etc but I'm certainly not losing sleep about us not being in the PO mix come the end of the season.

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

It's funny as when they rode into town with their scheme, a bloke I knew kept on saying how great it was and how they'd be here for decades and be entrenched in the Coventry area and CCFC would struggle because of the inevitable success of Wasps. At the time, I laughed at him and said how much...

    Oasis Reunion

And thinking about things on a macro level, the reasons ticket prices are so high nowadays (across the board) is that artists make much less money from sales of their work. Gone are the days of selling millions of CDs at £12.99 for the latest album. That revenue massively diluted with online...

    Oasis Reunion

I mean to be fair, I paid £40 in 2004 to see them at MK Bowl. I think I also paid only about £25 to see them in 1999 at Wembley. Both fair prices when you consider you normally get to see at least one decent support act as well.
