This is the week - Next season's home ground

^This. The only reason Wasps are still prepared to deal with Sisu is that there is no one else to share the stadium with them and our being there brings advantages in terms of advertising, sponsorship, whatever we pay in rent however small that may be etc etc. It's not as if they can magic out...

    Embarrassing things you forgot....

We did that in a hired Fiat on holiday in Spain in the mid 90s. We had driven to some tourist attraction or whatever and came out at the end of the day to find two absolutely identical red Fiats parked next to each other. Both from the same hire company with identical stickers in the windows...

    Vincenti

He mostly played centrally for Rochdale and was very effective in that position. He does seem to have lost some pace since his injury granted but i'm still pleased to have him in the side. At the end of the season i'll hold my hands up if i am proved wrong but i do believe he will come good.

    Transfer Rumour #CARLBAKERDAY

I never thought we were signing him but genuinely surprised he is off to India. Good luck to him thought, make hay while the sun shines and all that.

    CCFC 10 years from now...

I think there is every chance football as we know it will have imploded within the next 10 years. The financial aspect of the game is a massive house of cards and i don't think it will take very much for it all to come crashing down.

    CCFC Deadline Day Deals

Quote from Robins on the Sky website about the signing of Davies: Coventry manager Mark Robins said: "I am very pleased to complete this transfer and to be able to add another quality signing during a busy transfer window, and I'm grateful for the additional support from the club to do this."...

Wish they would do away with the window altogether. It was much more interesting when random transfers could just happen at any time. Failing that, close the window before the season starts and then reopen it briefly in January.

Match Thread Coventry City - Newport County Match Thread - Saturday 19th Aug

After our positive start i should be riding high on confidence for another win but i just can't shake the nagging sky blue pessimism. All i keep thinking is when did we last win 3 games on the spin? Did Robins manage that in his first stint? In an effort not to be totally negative i'm going to...

    David Boddy's Programme Notes

Exactly this. If the CEO of a business is in the news every day it generally means that business is totally up the swanny. Robins name should be on every bit of news that comes out of the club barring stuff that's totally out of his remit such as the ticketing issues. That's when you want your...

    New Trialist - Owain Jones

Depends whether Robins sees a long term future for Kwame at the club. If the answer is yes then we might benefit in sending him out on loan to a Conference side to get fit for a few months but because of his injury record and the level we would be loaning him too then we would have to pay 100%...
