My thoughts on things (New Member)

Excellent points STP particularly #2 which is, on reflection, glaringly obvious - who really would authorise pumping out continual major losses every month and at the same time resisting full purchase of the business ("co-investors only need apply") - it doesn't make sense. PUSB

FM 12 PREZZY FOR OLD GIT - Is it too long winded ???

All I am going to run is one league only and try to do what AT is not doing ie stopping up - would lack of RAM slow even that one application to make it unenjoyable/impractical ??? PUSB

FM 12 PREZZY FOR OLD GIT - Is it too long winded ???

Sorry but should have said 512 mb original + additional 238 mb = 750 mb total or 0.75 gb - I think that's right unless I've mixed up my megas with my gigas. PUSB

FM 12 PREZZY FOR OLD GIT - Is it too long winded ???

Daughter is buying me FM12 for X Mas and having last played FM on the 1999 version is the FM 12 a tad long winded ? I base this on the user reviews I have seen whereby there appears to be that much preparation prior to each match compared to 1999. A simple question: how long (very...

Bizarre Incident In Keresley - Did Anyone Else See/Hear About This?..

If this incident really happened that apples fell from a height surely there would be damage to bonnets and roofs etc and surely others would have come forward by now and it would be in the local and national press by now. Can't help the feeling of a bit of WUM here......................... PUSB

    Deegan?

I think the biggest problem with these lower league/ability players (Deegan etc) is that they have been hyped up so much by CCFC before signing that they believe they are the dogs bollix and should walk straight into the first team !!! I know it's the second tier of English football but it...

Who has the longest streak of appearances?

Among GEORGE CURTIS'S record of missing only 6 games in 9 seasons (1955-1964) must be a good old sequence of continuous games maybe on a par with Oggy - can't find it at the minute, but it must be there. pusb

    Andy Thorn Resigns ?

This "Director of Football" nonsense smacks of the ludicrous role Dennis Wise undertook at Newcastle a couple of years ago. Apparently he was being paid £1,200,000 per annum as D of F based in London and was responsible for recruitment of players, players contracts and transfers. He...

Wingy, As promised second account of my away fans experience. Premier League 1991/1992 Season away to the Vile 1st May 1992 Alan and Paul two brothers and good friends of mine convinced me that it would be a good idea to see the Sky Blues play Aston Vile at Vile park as it was the last...

PREMIER LEAGUE - Best in Europe ???

Lot of criticism of our Premier League of late favouring the Spanish league and particularly Barca and Real Madrid as two wonderful teams to watch !!! But look closely at their style of play - pitter patter football, a million passes backwards and sidewards, congestion in midfield -...
