Cov - Boro on TV 21/01/12

G'Day Folks - still in sunny OZ. Pleasd to see CCFC will be on ITV on Saturday against Middlesbrough - I am hoping I can get it in Perth BUT will the kickoff still be at 3 pm UK time ? I always thought this was taboo by the football league brcause of a more serious reduction in attendance...

You are a traitor if you buy a season ticket next year!

After 47 years as A ST holder I am no yet ready to throw the towel in - wached CCFC climb out of the old 4th Division and into the promised land of the Premiership gives me hope that we can maybe just maybe repeat that miraculous performance again. NURSE.....................

    First Post....Coventry Heroes

It has to be GEORGE HUDSON, centre forward extraordinaire, for me with his unbelievable close control of the ball, two footed, great header of the ball, scorer of impossible goals. What is puzzling is that we have seen nothing like him since - possibly Robbie Kean comes close followed by the...

    G'DAY FOLKS -Anything happening ???

KD Unfortunately I don't follow Test Cricket only the 20/20 version (too impatient) but I believe Australia are playing India this week at the "WACCA" PUSB

eastwood scores twice for the reserves!!!!

I think our Freddie will haunt SBT for ever. He still is the most gifted player on the books (when he wants to be) I have always said this guy has serious talent if he: Played regularly (which he is not) Played in his true position (up front as central striker - anywhere but at the moment)...

    Roland Nilsson

I remember years ago when Roland was actually playing and paul Telfer was wisecracking categorising each city player against the rankings of an airline crew with regard to physical appearance/looks etc. He gets to Roland and classifies him as Captain with Big Oggy as Baggage Handler - alright...

    G'DAY FOLKS -Anything happening ???

    Gael Bigirimana

Some good movement on Saturday for first hour but still that nagging tendency to play the 50/50 chance backwards and sidewards instead of forwards - completely nullifies the attacking opportunity -it really does annoy me. Coaching staff PLEASE RELEASE THE SHACKLES !!! PUSB

AUSSIE BOUND - I'll still keep in touch

G'day everyone. Fly off to Perth Australia tomorrow to see my brother for three weeks - have filled in 3 weeks of predictions (currently 10th). I hope there is good news on and off the park while I am there in that we beat Middlesbrough on the 21st and Saint Gary has finally made a bid...

    James McPake...

When McPake actually played for us, and at his peak, I recall him being an excellent centreback, absolutely fearless in the tackle, superb in the air and pretty good on the ball. Opposition forwards knew he was there all right - for fellow old gits on SBT he reminds me so much of Roy Barry...

    Ohh bugger

Looks like between 8 to 10 wins + a few draws to achieve the 51 points for safety with only a maximum of maybe only 9 more losses !!! PUSB

    Jutkiewicz, shirt pulling.

To me that is the problem, he gets outnumbered on the flanks and ends up running out of space - much prefer him to play more centrally up front to create more layoffs and knockons to Sheffers. PUSB

Deegan to be our Roy Keane ?

Deegs reminds me of other "nasties, in your face, bite your ankles" types that we used to hate when playing against us but would welcome with open arms as players for CCFC. Classic candidate the one and only Dennis Wise in particular followed by Craig Bellamy, Robbie Savage, Joey Barton etc...

    Mc Sheffrey Goal

Saw the goal on Sky - it was truly a gem - looking for passable options first but not available because of the speed of the original interception he put it away superbly. Repeating myself here but surely the last two performances have cemented Macca into that central striker slot which is...
