ok if we are talking cash then they may well be able to sit it out if crowds are around 10k. I'm of the view SISU will only leave when their investors say that's enough.

You know interest charges will form part of the costs, regardless of whether we actually pay them out. Do half the clubs in this league have our debts?

    Cov Rugby/Wasps

No. I'm saying we won't with 10k unless we have player sales, and certainly not on 6k.

    Cov Rugby/Wasps

The average crowd wasn't 6k though. How much were the costs?

So you're estimating ticket income at around £1.3m I guess, then a bit of other income, and you're thinking the running costs of the club and the wages of everyone employed will be less than this. I think you're wrong.

Continue to run the club at break even????? Maybe that could be possible if we sold a Callum Wilson each year, but otherwise not achievable on crowds of less than 10k. Cut the quality of players much more and we'll be down to 6k.

That's my view as well, but when SISU finally give up we'll be in a position where we are pretty stuck, the sale of ACL to Wasps means we don't have much chance of an improved future. If Higgs want to sell the Council could have bought their share, and the Council could have taken a long term...

How will it be good for CCFC's finances?
  10. Rusty Trombone

    Could Otium

I fail to see at present any business advantages for anyone to be involved with ownership of CCFC. I think this will only ever change when SISU's investors finally say enough is enough. When this happens there may be a small chance someone will want to get involved, but they would have to be...

Why are the leagues split North and South when you play teams from both leagues?

ok, I thought you were talking about the ACL debt. In your scenario above I think they would have to set up a new company rather than merge Otium, but I think it falls down before then as I can't see why Wasps would want to take on part funding a football clubs promotion campaign, it's too big...

What do you mean by isolating the debt, and how would this happen? Who would be paying it back?

I haven't seen any posts claiming all, or in fact any, Cov RFC fans were excited about Wasps coming. I have seen plenty of posts saying they don't seem all that bothered, which I'd broadly agree with. So if you have made that claim up I guess you are calling yourself a disgrace. If Villa or...

They are not councillors, so please don't start saying they actually are. For someone who goes round calling others naive for trying to get some information, you don't half get things wrong at times. You usually make a good argument, you make some great points, but there's a danger you'll start...
