I think the battery tech has got to improve and become cheaper before they genuinely go mainstream. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next year or so as the first wave of Graphene batteries become commercially available

Turning up early and getting it wrong!

You're right, definitely funnier than being stabbed! I love football but cannot imagine for a second caring about it so much as to be driven to want to stab a rival fan........ I've been late for matches before but usually just because i've massively underestimated the travel time...

Spot on, just made for one year, 68-69. Was intended to launch in 1966 but problems with the injection system delayed it. Now a massive PITA as its mechanically very different to a standard mk1 2000 and the rear floorpan is different too. Yet it's also quite different from a mk2 PI because they...

    Cars

Herald was my first car and I've had 3 in total My '65 1200 that I bought in 2003. Had 2 Herald estates prior to this one but don't have photos of them to hand. This one i sold to a guy who shipped it to Ireland and its the only one i regret selling, should have kept it.

    Cars

Aside from football, cars are my other big interest. My Grandad worked at Standard-Triumph, Dad has worked for just about every UK car maker there is or ever was so it's inevitable i would be a petrol head. Would be interested to see what motors you all drive, doesn't matter what it is, as...

It was built at Dagenaham and the engine made in Wales so it doesn't do badly on that front. It's a lot newer than any of my previous motors though. My '81 Acclaim was the newest previously. That said, its not that much different, has no power steering, no computer, no electrickery of any kind...

It's a '94 poverty spec 1.1. Super clean and unmessed with which is the only reason i bought it. Not my usual sort of motor but it was local and the right price.

It's a mark 3.5 so it came with the clear indicators as standard. Very hard to find an unmessed about with Fez now, especially in poverty spec like mine. I'm not against improving it but has to be done right. I have a couple of other "proper" classics that it has to vye for money and attention...

Pros and cons of having kids - and not having them

I think I did know that I wanted kids but I wasn't at all sure that I was ready for the first one. When he was born though all thoughts of being ready, not ready, doubts, whatever all faded away. It does totally change your life but speaking for myself it changed it for the better. I view having...

Pros and cons of having kids - and not having them

Really sorry to hear this. Life is cruel but i also believe that it tries to balance out the injustices so i hope and trust that there is a new kind of happiness waiting for you. Wishing you all the best.
