The rent problems existed long before SISU took over (ask Geoffrey Robinson?), it was far to high when set in 2003 on a "take it or leave it basis", so I'm led to believe! That's the main reason the Club went 'Bust' and only SISU were on hand to 'bail them out' at the 11th hour + 59 minutes...

Most probably correct on both points! Doesn't matter how good a deal the rent is, it's about 'other' revenue streams IMHO!

That's normal business practice, they would then sell the ground and Club to new owners. Please look at the ownership of OTHER clubs, Man. U. Liverpool, Leeds, Blackburn & Leicester, our situation is by no means unique!
