    Pressley has to go now

we were chasing shadows for the first half, they made passing look easy on the pitch, there looked a gulf in class and I imagine our team is costing more each week, Pressley doesn't seem capable of turning it around.

    Can some one tell me

It is open on match days, the FAQ's link above confirms this. Generally I work on the principle of believing the direct opposite of what RFC says, hasn't let me down yet.

    Match day entertainment

There used to be a rotund bald fella that joined in with the dancing girls at Highfield Road, probably early 90's but could be wrong, he was having a great time. I used to think getting some kids playing little 5 a side games would be good, but the pitch is too bad at the moment.

    Matthew Penning Joins on Loan

Sounds like a Jordan Clarke type of player.

    Bigirimana And O'Grady Linked

I agree, he tries hard, has a good back story, prays on the pitch, always looked happy, and therefore becomes a fans favourite, I admit to love seeing him turn out to play. Not good enough to make any difference in this team though, we did very well to get a decent amount of money.

Wasps Press Release regarding Pitch and Signing

yes. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-splash-cash-sixfields-7530998 And he revealed that City have shelled out to improve the Sixfields pitch so it can cope with the strain of staging a full programme for Pressley’s men and Chris Wilder’s Northampton...

What do you mean by 100%, 100% of what? Assuming the loan remains, I believe the interest rate charged is 5%, that's commercial isn't it, I know of bank loans for newish companies of £30m at less than 4%. They haven't written off £1m though have they?

I didn't say two years, I said I thought the dates may link in to when the Council said they wanted to hear offers from interested parties, that was the end of 2013, so around 12 months. Neither timescale would tally with your suggestion of a hurried deal though. Maybe I misread what I thought...

There's no reason for that to happen, ACL had the loan, ACL would still have the loan, it's just the shareholders that changed.

Maybe she did. I don't think I heard the radio interview so can't comment about what wording was used in that one. It is of course possible that she meant that the first contact was July with officers and then also in July she first met them, but that's not the impression I got. I can't see that...

I think it was the TV interview that I saw and heard for myself, and she quite clearly said that she met them in July for the first time, and this was after officers had already met them and were of the opinion that it was a serious offer.

    Wasps

She said she spoke to them in July but only after Council officers had already been in talks with Wasps, so she didn't say the deal was first discussed in July.

What length of time are you classing as hurried, the deal will have taken months to sort out, probably since Lucas invited offers at the end of 2013. Which part of the deal do you think that Wasps haven't paid for? Why would selling cut SISU off at the pass? The legal action doesn't change...

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

One small point though, the CCFC badges aren't being taken away, they're being moved a little bit.

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

I'd have thought we would have had to pay him out of his contract, or at least come to a deal on how much to pay, so it's possible that the wages saved would not be that great. So I think mainly football reasons as stated by Pressley, although I also think as we wouldn't have saved very much...

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

Nick, is the search facility working, I've been trying to find a thread about how annoyed everyone was when the casino badge went up, but I can't find one.

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

Yep, the Council didn't have a problem with having signs put up. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/council-turn-blind-eye-ricoh-3127632

    "Fan representation" on CCFC Board

So I guess the moral of the story is, if you can't really afford to buy, it's better to rent, even if you are currently 'cash flow positive'. Wise words indeed.

Can you just confirm that you're saying wasps haven't paid for the shares? What are you basing this on? CCC borrowed the money, if it gets paid back they can pay back their loan, they can't just 'put it to better use'.

No, but they would have a lease to sell.
