Leicester is the perfect draw. Will attract a decent crowd, zero expectation on us, all the pressure on them. If we managed to give a good account of ourselves it might just help keep a few more bums on seats.

Great option to have from the bench though

Have we just become a “Selling Club” or have we always been one?

All clubs are selling clubs, it's only the number of zeros that varies. At least we are developing home grown players through the academy and into the first team.

    Rate the Transfer Window

Best we could have hoped for really. A lot of our squad have shown themselves capable this season so we could easily have lost a few. McCallum was always going to leave, his agent had made sure of that but not so long ago we would have caved at the first sniff of a bid instead of waiting for a...

    Ex Player Watch

My mistake. I thought they had come up the season before.

    Ex Player Watch

I know he was but he looked solid enough for Bury till they went belly up

I'm surprised he's ended up back in League Two. I know he had his faults bit still a solid enough league one player

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

True but you still need good scouts at these events to spot the talent.

    Addai leaves by Mutual Consent

Hope he finds his level. Best of luck Cory

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

Surely the lesson here is not to spunk millions on another established player but instead spend £50-60k a year salary for another decent scout to set up camp in non-league land and keep finding the gems

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

As long as we got a decent price for him it's probably not bad business. We need the Income from player sales to keep us going until the stadium bollox is sorted. Good luck Sam.

    Pick your Sky Blues 11.....

I was sure Thompson had an England cap but according to Wiki he was twice selected for the squad but never got his cap. That must be absolutely galling for a player, to come so close but miss out.

    Jordan Ponticelli

Best thing we could do for him (and us) now is to get him a permanent transfer to a non-league side. Let him go for free/nominal fee but attach a sizeable sell on clause on the off chance he does come good at some point.

    Callum Wilson

If Bournemouth are relegated I can see him staying with them for a season at least to see if they come back up. He's never been the type to agitate for a move and Bournemouth would struggle to replace him.

January Transfer Window - Who do we want?

Agree. Promotion to the champ is the only chance we have of SISU putting us up for sale and being able to return to the Ricoh under a new owner. We need bums on seats to keep the cash coming in to give us the best possible chance of going up.

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Would assume he will move on in January. As has been said multiple times, he would be getting minutes at Tranmere if he was good enough. I even think league 2 is a bit ambitious, top end conference would be about the right level and see if he can get a promotion under his belt.

    Euromillions Tonight-Invest in Cov?

I'd actually find winning £170 million quite stressful. I know that sounds pathetic bit think about it, you can't just stick that amount of money on the bank and forget about it, it has to be managed and it would almost be a job in itself. Hypothetically if I won £170 million I'd team up with a...

    Euromillions Tonight-Invest in Cov?

£169 million sounds like a lot but a club like Cov could soon burn through that. Building a stadium for the club to use isn't a bad idea but you'd need a watertight legal agreement to protect yourself against future liabilities and costs
