On the pace argument I’d say Bobby Thomas has a bit of it, the way he’s one end for a corner and the other team hits the counter his recovery running is rapid the amount of times he’s stopped a counter attack or got back in time to slow it

The thing is Tav started getting a run and even started and had a good game against Stoke, he keeps getting unfortunate injuries that stall his breakthrough, my view has been changed by his performances end of last season I think there’s something there and Im happy to give it a last crack this...

Thats true but their track record suggest they dont really pick up injuries of any severity, if managed correctly they’ll play most games, I agree we need another striker though

Hmmm not sure on this one, if Robins and AV think they can get a tune out of him then I’d be happy with him coming in, at the end of the day we already have Simms and Wright anyone else coming in as a striker would be a backup or have to be genuine quality
