    Scientific calculation on Burton attendance

You're not taking account of the "there's fuck all else to do on Tuesday night" factor. Gate: sell out.

    Scientific calculation on Burton attendance

The "sick note" observation suggests everybody should be the same and have blind faith. In reality we are all different have different needs, priorities, etc. Things like previous results, quality of opposition and weather are always factors that affect gates. It's a scientific fact...

    Scientific calculation on Burton attendance

I'm not going. If its a balmy evening expect a considerable "walk up". However, the dogs of doom are barking again (Crewe) which will dilute the feel good fraternity (Brum). Any 'scientific' calculation must include thes factors.

    Richard Wood

It went like this.......Thirn said t Wood; Apologise for giving away that pen, you plank. Wood replied with a forearm jab as another player weighed in....... Thorn wobbled and tripped on a bar stool crushing Wood and half of CV6......allegedly. It's hard t believe but there you go.

Coventry v Sheffield UTD matchday thread.

    We can still win this.....

    Strange.

You're wasting your time Valiant. It's easier to have a go at Thorn. Bullies are usually brainless, no different on here.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

It's been good to see British crowds getting genuinely thrilled by marginal sports. It makes the cynical, posturing world of football and in particular the Premier League appear like a crock o shit - which it is.

    Thorn Up To The Job?

Correct. This has been the case since AT was appointed. Sisu employ who they like. AT isn't there for footballing reasons but to absorb the flack that should be directed at them.

    Fat scout out

That old chestnut. We've been over this. A million fekkin' times. Until this particular penny drops for our owners any idle musings over who should be manager is DREAMLAND. AT is Sisu's puppy- end of.

    Fat scout out

The cheapest option is AT. Until Sisu rethink their strategy all your posturing is hot air.

NOT ALL DOOM AND GLOOM - GB v Brazil

A good point though. Football without cynicism - bring it on.

    Fat scout out

Haha, sensible to who? Have you spoken to Sisu about this? No. Think again. First, Engage your brain. And think again.

    Fat scout out

Steady on Otis, that almost seems like a good idea. Why is it that the Thorn out people do not have any?

    Fat scout out

Yeah, yeah. But with who or what? And how shall he or it be paid? Hello?

AT should have the first five league games

Another thing the anti Thorn intelligentsia struggle with is that AT is in the job because he was and continues to be the cheapest option. Until the owners have more financial choice their hands are tied. :-)

AT should have the first five league games

Yeah, but when it comes to answers as to who will replace AT the 'Thorn out boring morons' are full of bright ideas.......not.

AT should have the first five league games

Loving this. .........And after Thorn Sisu scratch their heads and finally appoint Shaw as caretaker while looking for a permanent appointment. Shaw's team win three on the spin and fans clamour that the job should be his. Sisu oblige realising Shaw is on even less than Thorn. The team is found...

    77% households have internet access

Tbh, footballers by and large do not care about the impact they have on us fans or the impression they give to society. The planet they live on bears no resemblance to the real world. A touch of sanity needs to return to their world and if a few home truths on tinternet helps then bring it on...

    77% households have internet access

More interestingly, what percentage don't have running water, cannot read and live in Lesta?

    RIP Ernie Machin

Very dependable - something we have lacked for a decade or more. Sad time but heartened that people who never saw him play appreciate the qualities he had. Just heard that he was also a legend down at Plymouth despite only playing a season there. There's a thread on a pilgrim site....somewhere...
