I was worried when we were 10 points ahead, because I knew that just two defeats and two wins for a rival, could whittle that gap down really quickly. My main worry is and has always been though, that the squad is too thin. Seriously needs addressing in January.

I'm glad it's now winter. I will be able finally to pull the roots out of those Triffids growing in my back garden. And anyway, if these aliens that may be coming, do want to play football and want to sign for us, we wouldn't need to stick them on the wings. They probably already have them...
