Loans aren't free ya know. Having had a successful season with us McNally's stock has risen, Burnley are likely wanting a chunky up front loan free and a high percentage/ all of his wages covered. It may just simply have been that the numbers for Bink's made more financial sense.

With Sheaf it was a bit different, it wasn't an option to buy, it was a committment to buy, the deal was already done, we essentially just deferred the payments. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see this deal made permanent in January if he does well

Has he been told about the complimentary hand jobs?

We've used a loan spot to fill a specific gap in our squad. Can't complain, that's what the loan system is there for. Purchase options aren't always disclosed either.
