Reading back through this lot and a thought struck me, what we really need is another Latibeaudiere. His versatility is a massive boost at the moment, if we could find another Lati to provide effective cover for the left hand side of the pitch we'd be laughing.

I think the best we can hope for is getting him to agree to a 1 year extension. That way it doesn't stop him going in the summer if he's got better options but the club will at least get something back by way of a fee. At the end of the day he's got to do what's best for him but I would hope...

It's not hard to see why he's moving for big money. Loads of league experience, promotion with Burnley and prem experience with Chelsea and still only 21.

You're not wrong but we can't rest on our laurels. We need effective cover for Wright and Tatsu, potentially another Attacking midfielder if O'Hare isn't going to stay and upgrades on Godden, Kelly and Fadz for the long term. Won't all get done this window but we need to be looking forwards

I'm sure Godden wants to play, he might even be somewhat justified in feeling he should start ahead of Simms but he's 32 and been in and out of sides all through his career. If he did have the hump about something on Saturday then I'm certain he will shake it off and get back to being the model...
