    Bile ad nauseum

I understand your point, but this like any other forum is a vehicle in which people can express freely, their true opinions and viewpoints in relation to Coventry City Football Club, within reason of course. In this instance, nothing awful has been said, just fans voicing their anxities about...

    Can we do it?

Forget about the PL and concentrate on the club getting back to the Championship, which itself is a big ask. If this is acheived, then with substantial financial investment there's always a chance.

Big Fish in a Small Pond

Good research and interesting reading. It highlights that Pompey have the most successful recent history, having won the FA Cup in 2008 and the 7 most recent Premier League seasons. Like Pompey, we've all ended up in League 1 for similar reasons, mainly financial mis-management. I reckon that...

    Latest Odds

Strange that nobody's interested? :thinking about: It looks good value to me. That's me being biased though. I wouldn't want to be favourites anyway. How many teams outside the Premier League live up to the hype? It would be intesting to see how many teams that were tipped up to win the...

    Chris Porter

 Funny! The bookies have him as favourite to finish League 1 top scorer!

    Johnstone's Paint Trophy

Definatley value at 14/1. There's nobody to fear. MK Dons need to get promotion this season so i can't see them getting very far, likewise Sheff Utd. Swindon Town maybe fancy it, possibly Rotherham United? There's always a dark horse, Notts County? I have a feeling the Sky Blues will do the...

Financially the blades are shot. I think morale will be low after such an epic fail last season. It might prove one playoff final defeat to many. Last season was mainly down to the lad that's now imprisoned, Ched Evans. My prediction is that they will struggle to make the playoffs...

    Sydney Fc view of Cazarine

His goalscoring record is rubbish and in rubbish leagues. Looks like a big old donkey to me, but i agree, see what he does in his trial.

    Sydney Fc view of Cazarine

Looked him up on Wikipedia. Not bothered about him. Should look elsewhere.

    Fortress Ricoh ...or not

I have to agree. I think the Ricoh WILL be a fortress in League 1. The away form will be questionable. 8 away wins could be enough.

    Sunderland fans on Stephen Elliott

I think he's a very good signing. He'll do really well at League 1 level. I wouldn't be suprised to see him score 10 plus goals. It all depends on AT and who he thinks will be the best strike partnership. I think Elliot and Cody when both fit.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Cheltenham Town would be the obvious choice. Often the football league prefer to not relegate a club which would favour Wycombe Wanderers. Cheltenham should have won playoff final so they get my vote.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

I'm assuming the club would be run by the fans. I would hope so else they could end up in the same predicament in the future which would be cruel! Seriously, i hope they manage to survive but i just can't see how they can anymore.

    portsmouth possble liquidation

The players that are left are on big money. Sky Blues can't afford big wages. I wouldn't want any of them anyway, not with the attitude and disrespect they're showing the club. They're a disgrace. :jerkit: I think Portsmouth would be better off starting again. As previously stated, a form...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Neither can i. It might not be such a bad thing. Look at AFC Wimbledon. I've no doubt if Pompey do fold, they would be a football league club again within a few years. AFC Portsmouth maybe? Portsmouth Albion FC possibly?

    McDonald unsettled?

    I hope your right.

    McDonald unsettled?

I think so too. No bad thing if he's unsettled. Probably better players out there that would accept smaller wages.

That doesn't sound good. :( Positive about Kilbane, i thought he'd make a good captain.

Inverness vs Coventry - Match Thread

No need to worry. The defeats were against good opposition, despite what people might think. SPL football gets bad press south of the border. Both clubs, especially ICT, would be very competitive in the Championship. City are a League 1 side afterall. They're only friendlies as well. To...
