    Squad Formation

There is my problem, I was trying to find a way of fitting McSheffrey behind the striker, leaving us with either 1 upfront or playing Eastwood. I would rather have 1 upfront. I personally liked Baker (under Thorn....) hence my wish to play him I guess. He'd probably have to end up on the subs...

Must admit I really like that. (not really wanting to play Eastwood but meh go on then lol)

    In memory of Rosalind Cooke

Agree with above, it would be good to have some sort of tribute during the Leicester match (half time of before the match for example)

    Squad Formation

I posted a formation on another thread that's starting a little discussion so I thought it might be nice to post a football (not finance) related topic. so using only what we have now, how would you start us if you had no injuries. Mine is currently: L.Jukiewicz G.McSheffrey C.Baker - D.Bell...

    Compared to last season...

Hurts me to leave out Cranie, but I'm a huge fan of McPake and Hussey and no chance of leaving Turner out. He'll have to take the bench I'm afraid. I don't see why Clarke's a defender. He's supposed to be good at running at people so why not. Worked with Gareth Bale!

    Compared to last season...

Good point... My Revised ideal team would be (at present): L.Jukiewicz - G.McSheffrey C.Baker - G.Deegan - D.Bell S.Clingan C.Hussey - J.McPake - B.Turner - R.Keogh J.Murphy Keep Bell and Baker fairly central (Bell can hold up well in the middle, whilst Baker can run at/take on players) and...

    Compared to last season...

Would still take O'Donovan over Eastwood. When a team is struggling the biggest sin I feel is to not put a shift in and Eastwood is extremely lazy. We need 1 striker to compliment Juke who, although not the finished article, improved plenty with King under Thorn and hopefully will improve...

    Have no fear......

I'd probably invest £50m That would clear our debts and give a bit to buy the stadium - give the new owners (who can then put their own money into it and get any profit etc) a strong position to take forward!

    Who is lying?

Whilst I believe that Hoff isn't telling everything, 3 years of being mislead by SISU has firmly warped my opinion that SISU are probably the only ones out and out lying.

    Latest odds

Our first team squad looks pretty good actually. But yes injuries could be our downfall. Still can't see us going down though. The other thing to note is that many of our injuries last year were cuased by Hoofroyds style of training - physical training to match the style of play. Therefore I...

    Interesting

Should I be worried that it's that statement that has made me smile the most today

CCFC are going into Admin on 29th July

If the fee is £1m from the stories this morning, and the club are losing between £500k - £600k a month, wouldn't £1m last longer than end of this month?

    Interesting

But why tell us to be prepared and not tell why? Surely it'll wind people up because we don't know what we' to expect?

thorn"no point in rushing for signings"

Na, I paid Becksy to type that :-) As for my comment, its all well saying that, but you've taken a few lines and deliberately chosen to take them as negative. If your post was based on fact I wouldn't mind, but Thorn has said hes not rushing into getting a striker. That does not mean that...

thorn"no point in rushing for signings"

This is a non-story. We know we have limited funds, many times we have pointed out that SISU manipulate truth and mislead. Why post another topic about it. Equally Thorn could be implying that Jukiewicz has developed extremely well, which I would agree with. Westwood was good but over-rated and...

    SBT Footie Match

Yeah I like Friday's. 1 issue would be transport, as my bus doesn't go after 6 -.-' I live in Allesley Green if I could scrounge a lift off someone (obv. more than happy to pay for petrol)

The good and the bad news.

But if they are paying those fees they will count them as part of any deal to sell... Those fee's will simply be added to the bill new owners would pay.
