Tbf Cranie is on -1 so, as it stands, Deegan is outscoring Cranie :P

    If we got relegated...

The grammar Nazi within wants to point out "You're". The human inside me apologises for being a dick. As for the topic, I imagine it would be in other parties best interests to keep us there, advertising boards etc are all bringing in money and us leaving the group was make them practically...

    Cody McDonald

Can't say I blame him - 1st game looked dull, second game much sharper, 3rd game?

Worst paid job in the UK?

I know no 1 will like this answer, but the City Council are in the middle of setting up a Business Admin hub. Basically they've taken the admin staff out of each individual teams and formed areas with admin staff. Still in it's infancy, but they're still recruiting for some areas across the city...

    Wilkinson was involved too

Shouldn't this be in the Board subforum? It does seem to strengthen my skepticism in Hoffman's bit though, still seems like a bit of a billy-bullshitter from where I'm sat. More worrying is that it mentions the take-over could result in Big Sam taking over...

    Most Legendary Game ever??

I'd be stupid not to Mentioned Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Link to the Past - both classics in their own right. But for me it would be either Pokémon Gold/Silver or Sonic 3 & Knuckles (special game combining the 2) - I was practically raised on these 2 games!

    Obscure gaming thread

For the nerd in you all, Star Wars: Republic Commando for the PC + XBox. A standard FPS but with some brilliant and intuative AI controls.

Okay, turning the Thorn thing on it's head

It certainly has been mentioned by some (articles on the Telegraph certainly hinted it once or twice) - we could use someone of his skill without the sex offender tag on him...

Okay, turning the Thorn thing on it's head

I would say he's also being given grace because of the attractive style of football he tries to play. The well known fact is we create plenty of chances - we lack the ability to take them. There's only so much the manager can do to solve that - you can coach finishing but the players upfront...

Are you a regular at the Ricoh

Season ticket holder and go to 3 or 4 away games per season - money's the wrong side of tight atm so my missus is going to Barnsley without me :(

    Cyber supporters

Ha well whilst I can't account for driving home in the fog alone, Scunthorpe last year was a highlight. Wore thick footie socks to combat the cold (after the game was nearly called off for snow) then the snow soaked through my shoes and socks = mild hyperthermia. Still, great win, great...

Anyone else losing confidence in Thorn?

Yeah true, you never know what he's specifically told them to do, but hopefully he'll learn from it and stop them doing it again!

Anyone else losing confidence in Thorn?

Can't agree with all of that. Thorn chooses the formation and how they're going to play the game. It should have been his choice for the players to play the style of passing they did (i.e. long balls) and it should be down to him to decide that the full backs should stand off their midfielders...

    Baker out

Ha yeah I just saw it  and I agree with kg82 on this one. Baker was doing a lot of tracking back and actually trying to create things - at least showing signs of the Baker than joined from Stockport. In a midfield lacking bite, he was having to do some of the stuff he's not really...

    Baker out

Baker, bad though he can be, was one of the few people I saw willing to take a man on last night. Him and Christie have been our main attacking threats all season and now one of them is out for god knows how long... Unless Hussey starts beating people (which he is capable of and did against...

Anyone else losing confidence in Thorn?

No doubt he made some glaring erros last night. Unfortunately he's new to management and is going to make mistakes. The fact remains we still created chances and once again spurned all of them. Defensively he needed to change things last night but I'd rather he made the mistake once and learned...

    Wood,Mcpake and Freddie.

That's an awfully basic and well thought out argument... you're on the wrong forums mate :) Na I jest. Eastwood atm won't play because he's still at his intestive fat camp. Whilst I agree chopping/changing the defense wouldn't be helpful, giving Christie a rest would be good. Problem with that...

    If you were Andy Thorn..

I thought Thorn made mistakes - full backs should have marked far tighter. On the plus side, McDonald and O'Donovan looked much better so here's hoping.

    Our new Striker...

Thought he was vastly improved. It was our worst performance of the season, write it off and beat Reading
