    Carlton Cole anyone?

    Yeah that's what I'm saying.

    Carlton Cole anyone?

No Prem club will take, but a Championship club will. I was just stating that I wouldn't want him.

    Carlton Cole anyone?

I actually wouldn't want him. Rarely puts a shift in for West Ham to make up for his severe lack of technical ability. People talk about wanting players who work hard and play for the shirt etc, Cole is more of a Nouble than a JOB.

    Carlton Cole anyone?

Even though Cole is a pathetic excuse for a footballer, he won't drop lower than the Championship. Bournemouth bid £1 million for him last summer which was rejected by West Ham, so there is interest in him at that level.

    Carlton Cole anyone?

    Zero chance of getting Cole.

    Realistic good signings.

Let's try not to repeat last season's mistakes.

Why Pressley will never make it as a manager

He was forced to work with youngsters at Falkirk and here, he literally had no other choice.

    Clough gone

Yeah on the face of it, it is utterly ridiculous, however Clough was a huge fan of Brayford and moaned during the play-off semis about him being injured and how he was vital to how they wanted to play. So I could imagine Clough asking the board to back him for this particular signing, as he...

    Clough gone

From what United fans say and what was reported at the time it was at the very least £1.5 million.

    Clough gone

Well you're looking at a high wage budget for starters, then anywhere between £1.5 and £2 million for John Brayford - who is a right back - then they payed fees for Higdon, McNulty, McGahey, Done, Coutts and Adams. In comparison to MK and Preston its a huge difference.

    Clough gone

One of of the biggest playing budgets in the League, a dire league may I add. The board wants promotion not romantic little cup runs which ultimately end in nothing. Clough has underachieved given the money spent and the players available to him. Did the same at Derby, then McClaren comes in...

    Big Sam

Big Sam has a roof as a manager, he can keep a team up with ease - It didn't take that much managerial ability to keep that West Ham squad up however - and have them around mid-table put rarely can take them on to that next level. He'll get a job in the Prem/Championship if and when he wants one.

    Pressley not to blame

    Naturally.

    Pressley not to blame

I'm talking about the teams from Sheffield United down, none of whom were anything special or miles better than us. A full season of TM with that squad and we would have competed for 6th place with the likes of Chesterfield, Rochdale, Fleetwood and Bradford.

    Pressley not to blame

I agree with all this. As much as the squad has been lamented throughout the season, in comparison with those clubs in and around the play-offs we were on a par.

    Pressley not to blame

Pressley's tactical awareness can be summed up by his attempt at playing 5-3-2 with the squad we had, having never previously used the formation/system in his career and quite clearly picking it up after watching LVG and Holland during the World Cup. He tried copying it without properly...

    High five will probably suffice.

    Realistic good signings.

In the nicest possible way, he wouldn't. Donny fans think he's crap.

    Pressley not to blame

Felt I represented the feeling's of a lot of Cov fans when I wrote this: http://thefootballwriterblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/steven-pressley-return-to-sender.html #CheekyPlug Possibly the worst manager I've known in my time supporting City, for a multitude of reasons.
