    The Ricoh..

I'm not suggesting otherwise. However, the expectation levels given by said lawyers are likely to be misleading do you not think? As with any form of consultancy, legal advise is a results business and if you're not getting the results yet still remaining to provide regular council then surely...

    The Ricoh..

You do have to wonder who's advising them, as whether they have a legitimate case or not the legals are clearly a lost cause.

    The Ricoh..

You have to wonder if Wasps were ever serious about entering negotiations with CCFC as so far they've clearly employed stalling tactics by regularly moving the goalposts when talks were actually progressing. Putting my tin foil hat on slightly but it wouldn't surprise me if they've saved using...

    The Ricoh..

It's a play on words that makes it sound that way. Which suggests the story clearly has been leaked by the council, Gilbert or Wasps.

    The Ricoh..

It's definitely a strategic PR move. But if it is the case that talks have collapsed. Firstly, why? Secondly, where on earth are we playing? Hopefully some kind of statement will be issued soon as this has turned into a shitstorm.

    The Ricoh..

Not unreasonable at all. But if SISU or the club didn't expect Wasps to demand a pound of flesh after years of involving them in litigation then the powers at be are either stupid or in complete denial.

    The Ricoh..

I wonder if this was another case of SISU attempting to force someone's hand and it backfiring. It wouldn't surprise me if SISU said to Wasps give the club a fair, long term deal at the Ricoh or we'll continue with the legals and take the battle to the European Commission.

    Bolton

Sad to see that it’s come to this for some of the employees of Bolton Wanderers. Everyone associated with the club deserves a lot better than this. Their fiasco needs sorting asap. Bolton Wanderers set up emergency food bank to help staff after wages go unpaid

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Nice thought. But unfortunately I think he might have received a better offer as he's off to Stoke apparently.

    Signing Season

He was a regular starter in Swindon's top 6 push in League One during their 2014-15 season where they finished 4th. However, he was partnered beside Jack Stephens the entire campaign who made Turnbull look far better than he actually was. Joins a long line of 'Premier League talent duds' brought...

    New Sponsor

Considering they posted a £3.4B final quarterly loss for 2018 in February I highly doubt they'll be interested in taking over the naming rights. They have far bigger priorities at the minute.

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

Contra's are quite common in business, regardless of size. It's a way of saving expenditure where they can. Take from that what you will.

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

Not necessarily. I think both the club and us as fans were naive to think talks would be concluded swiftly. Realistically talks were never going to be straightforward given the level of toxicity between the club, SISU and Wasps. Years of bad blood doesn't simply get washed away overnight. I'm...

    Signing Season

As fans we can be guilty of assuming we know more than the experts at times. But I can confidently say I know far more about recruitment at League One level and below than Tony Mowbray. Many say Slade's poor recruitment in the January window that season was the final nail in the coffin in...

    Goalkeeper

Apart from a handful of appearances at Peterborough, Joe Day hasn't consistently played higher than League Two which doesn't fill me with confidence considering he's nearly 29. I'd suggest he'd be an effective No.2. but realistically we need someone of a far better pedigree between the posts if...

    Goalkeeper

The fact that we roughly scored the same amount of goals as both Walsall and Plymouth had nothing to do with costing us promotion then? Just to put it into perspective, McNulty scored more goals on his own last season than our current leading goalscorers (Hiwula, Chaplin and Bakayoko) combined...

    Goalkeeper

He's not that young, isn't he about 28? One of the better goalkeepers at League Two level though.

Just passing on some intel :)

I know it's not really based on much but that would tie in nicely with the Graham Carey link then. If he's not playing No.10 he usually plays out on the right for Plymouth.

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Not sure how reliable the Plymouth Herald is but they're also reporting that we're interested in Graham Carey. Plymouth Argyle's Graham Carey linked with a move to Coventry No actual info about the link in the article so could just be picking up rumours from Twitter

Transfer Rumour Charlie Adam- anything in this?

Exactly, it is naivety. @ceetee made an interesting point. Players such as Adam who come down from the Premier League to play at League One or two level often struggle to cope with the drop in standards. Which is another reason why it would be a mistake to sign him. For instance, they will make...
