In the formation we play he's inconsistent because there's a defensive aspect to the role. Something he can't do. Similarly, his passing is average at best, something again that is highlighted at that position.

I don't think he is. He fails to look up on a regular basis, attempts to go past 5 players at once and doesn't release at the appropriate times. That will be highlighted in the Championship against better defenders. Hence why i think he'll struggle initially if he's played as a starter.

Does she? You only have to look at the money being spent in the Championship even by the lesser teams to realise that promotion isn’t all roses. The Championship in 2011/12 is a different kettle of fish to what it is now.
