    boycott forest game

They tried a get rich quick scheme and, having failed that, are trying to keep us going long enough to further asset strip us? I can't help but agree with NINO

    Senior Players

No arguments here. Every game I feel the younger lads - Christie, Bigi and Thomas in particular - far outshine to senior players. Clingan is playing too many stray passes/backwards balls but then he hasn't got anyone making runs to support it and none of our strikers except hopefully Cody and...

Article: SISU Have To Go Before It's Too Late

Wouldn't really be fighting though would it. It would be admin > liquidation > not existing in very little time unless Hoffman and his band of merry men decide they want to invest. I'm not a fan of SISU, I hate the lying etc, but they have undoubtedly reduced running costs. If someone does come...

By xmas we could be 10 points from Safety

We were a shower of shite on Saturday (and I was stone-cold sober) At home we play fairly well... away we need a complete rethink!

    Thorn Out

He got plaudits for changing the style of football we played. Problem is without a good forward to pull defenders away, it takes fluke/skill to play a killer ball forward. Unfortunately Thorns response is to play crab/backwards passing or long ball which is starting to grate me. As for no-one...

Time to Organise, Blackburn Style, Or Die

Sisu are in charge. They get round the ownership rules by having no1 own more than ten percent. Im split on the SISU thing. On 1 hand they have undoubtedly reduced running costs and are protecting us from liquidation. On the other hand the lack of investment is strongly harming us. Unfortunately...

My mate went today and he said the following:

Admin is not the answer. When going into admin, the administrators sell any asset they can. All we have is players. We'd be liquidated by Christmas

    gutless spineless toothles rubbish

I thought Christie did well again... Deegan was good enough. The back pass to long ball tactic at 2-0 down is infuriating, however.

    Over reaction?

That can't be it. Leicester 'don't care about Cov' remember :-P

Whilst I wouldn't call him skillful, to say he's lazy is ridiculous

You know the saying "Only in America?" Well they should change that to ..

Typical really, the 1 time they may actually be doing things by the book (i.e. references not checking out.) and they still look stupid for it!

    Barnsley roll-call

Yes it is. If you walk up the hill from the ground (which is kind of in the middle of a crater) and head for Barnsley Premier Leisure ltd. Not sure which direction but the building's fairly easy to spot (seriously - just checked on Google maps it's about 100m from the right of the away stand)

    Keogh Christie and Clarke

Really? I thought he was MOTM against Blackpool and has been one of our most consistantly good players so far. Clarke's the one I don't trust. Doesn't tackle bar the odd interception and doesn't use his ability to attack.

    Sky Blues on Twitter

Good idea, wouldn't mind seeing the ramblings of some of our own! Also, I might actually notice 1 or 2 of you at the ground/on the coaches :P

    Keogh Christie and Clarke

I'd say Christie; Keogh should stay in defense and Clarke shouldn't start over either of those 2. Christie is getting better at crossing but, as shown against Blackbpool, he's able to cut inside and shoot - you could see how desperate he was to score on Tuesday and he were to keep doing that, I...

    Barnsley roll-call

Went there last season. Not bad food and the staff are friendly. Overlooking the swimming pool.

    Formation Ideas

Yeah that's the problem I had - most of my formations lacked proper width hence resorting to Baker and McSheff on the wings. It is worth noting though that some of our best crosses this season have come from marauding runs down the wings by our wing backs. It does make for our lack of width to...

    Formation Ideas

Yeah good point. Who would you drop in his place though? I'd probably keep him a second half sub/change with Bigi. Holy carp... does that mean we have options in midfield?! :thinking about:

    Formation Ideas

Now the season's been going for a few weeks, we've started to see more of players so I've been thinking about a couple of formations - a plan B and C if Thorn's favoured Diamond isn't working. So here's a few I have seen/thought of that might be alternatives: Murphy/Dunn Keogh - McPake -...
