Why I would take administration right now

I'm pretty sure Plymouth haven't prospered from it. I'm fairly sure it's cost Portsmouth 2 leagues... Luton are now in the Conference. In order for Administration to help us, we need things worth selling.

My signature for the next two games.......

Ha, I've just made a new one myself - not quite as grim though!

I wish the Telegraph wouldn't build our hopes up like this!

Am I reading it wrong? I'm interpreting that article as saying "Sultan of Oman is giving his national players a bonus for how well they've done. He was looking to buy Newcastle, therefore he might buy Coventry"?

    Martin Cranie

Wow, the bloke just loves underachieving doesn't he... Pompey in Admin in Premier League, us getting relegated and a team that should have gone up by now failing the majority of the time...

Last two games I want to see the youngsters.

Tbh the current team had gone on an 8 game unbeaten run and had a fantastic home record since late November '11. Much of that was down to the stubborness of formation tactics early on imo, also having Norwood and Nimely helped of course... I wouldn't play them now. It's not going to be a...

Carsley should be in charge last two games now...

Unfortunately I think he's put himself in the shit if SISU (god forbid) remain. If I was a new owner and knew a bit about the club (like Hoffman for example) I'd give him his chief scout role back in a flash. For all the David Bells he's brought in - there have been players like Danny Fox, Scott...

Tweeted Hussey earlier with the same sentiments. Ofc. we were gutted he missed but it was over the top

    Congrats to Reading

One of those clubs no1 has a good reason to dislike. Went to the Madjewski for the first time this season and it looks lovely, good team and cracking manager. Fully deserved.

    chelsea v barca

True, but Chelsea haven't looked as neutered upfront as I thought.

    SISU Going BUST !!!!!!!!!

Well I'm skeptical of anything Keys says, but I read that as our relegation causing SISU to go bust. There would be some much enjoyed justice in that... :blue:

player of the season & awards dinner

I was always going to be Keogh, tho I think Hussey deserves a shout. Through the bad patch this season he made some necessary blocks and was the only 1 who could consistatly get into good positions and put in good crosses. For me the only reason Keogh is ahead of him is that he played every game.

    A sad thought.

For me it all depends on who's in charge. If Hoffman finally completes this proposed takeover that's dragged on then I'd like to think we can come straight back up r, if not, maybe consoledate then rebuild as Southampton have done. If not... I dread to imagine what could happen.

    you make me laugh

Thorns stubborness to change tactics or formation for half a season has cost us. Our inability to convert 5 or 6 penalties has cost us. SISU's lack on investment meant injuries have lead towards a good run of form ending, which has cost us. It's far from 1 factor by itself.

    Thoughts on SISU

Well may ws well close this thread, Astute's left very little room for debate. I joke ofc. but I can't help but agree with his points as well as sportbilly's comment about the over agressiveness of it. I'd call it short sightedness by SISU but that implies they cared enough about the team for it...

    Fair play to Thorn

Whatever your opinion on Thorn as a manager, you must feel a massive degree of sympathy for the bloke. Injuries have caught up with us. He has picked up more tactical nous than people like Sven showed at Leicester and was getting results. No investment = relegation. As for speaking out sooner...

and so our slow and painful death continues...

Yeah I very much wanted Bristol to score, at least we could have a relegation party with Doncaster a la Bradford

Starting League One, on -10 points

Well the obvious stuff is lying, but that's not why we're where we are - I think what they've done wrong is release the assets they have at every opportunity which, as someone has stated elsewhere would have made us a team that could challenge, never mind survive.

    Play up Sky Blues

I find blind optimism is great!

Advice from a supporter who has been watching CCFC for 60 years now,,

Well I've never seen us be relegated before must admit it hurts to watch it. that said, I'll be at the Ricoh next season cheering us back up.
