    Conor Thomas to Norwich?

Tbh Thomas impressed me last season, kept moves going by simple passing usually getting Christie to bomb forward. He could tackle too. Looked rough after hed come back from injury but don't most people. Personally think he was needed this season more than Gael.

The More I stare at The Fixture List.........

Agree, but I go into every season thinking that it'll be different this time. Wouldn't love football half as much if I didn't

The More I stare at The Fixture List.........

I see no harm with feeling positive about next season, why shouldn't we? Theres a big difference between feeling positive about top 6 and expecting it. if it doesn't turn out then so be ot

    £1 million for Bigi

why? Because we sold someone who wouldn't have seen the first team were we not criminally short on players?

    £1 million for Bigi

Potential to be much higher, but we have to worry about this season. He wouldn't have gained much in League 1 and wouldn't be what we needed. Good move him and us if the.money is genuinely used as Fisher stated...

    Kevin Kilbane signs

We needed this one - with our squad size being what it is, his versatility is massive. Actually happier with this than I am with Fleck - and I was overjoyed with that!

Waiting for the rug to be pulled?

The only thing that makes me less worried about some of them was their role last season. Eastwood barely played, McPake didn't play much and was shipped off so their absences I wouldn't count in last season. You'd like to think we can play the loan market as well as last season - Norwood and...

Anyone starting to feel slighty optomistic?

Certainly feeling optimistic. Need defensive and cm to start feeling confident

    Joe Murphy

Although his performances at the start were poor to say the least, he vastly improved over the season and I would regard him as one of the best performers by the end. Very happy we've still got him.

Deal agreed with rangers for John Fleck

According to Telegraph all but done, bar some legal checks: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/coventry-city-fc/coventry-city-fc-news/2012/07/03/coventry-city-consult-legal-experts-over-john-fleck-signing-92746-31311181/

I Know who the international striker is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Much as I'm skeptical until I see them holding/wearing our shirt, it is nice to be talking about people we could sign rather than those who have turned us down/missed out on. If 1 or Fleck/Kilbane/Kuqi/anyone half decent is signed it would be a good start!

    Super Spain

It's the best International Tournament I've watched in a good few years. Having only 16 teams meant every team was at worst, still watchable. Teams like Croatia and Sweden - even England to an extent, put on a good show. I personally didn't want Spain to win it - my opinion is they've played...

    2 games gone (old thread)

Best statement I've read today (with the possible exception of Kilbane if anything comes of that.) First thing I said to someone after the Spain match was "Whatever state Cov are in atm, I can't wait to start the season again." It's just not the same on a Saturday without either being at the...

    The Ricoh

As mentioned, think that it coincided with not only our bad results, but I think it's almost a symbol of the financial difficulty we're in - it costs us £1.2m per year and we don't get half of that back I would imagine.

Deal agreed with rangers for John Fleck

Agree entirely, we need someone who can feed balls for Cody to run onto, be it aerial or through ball.

Hopefully behind the striker, baker on the right, Sheff on the left for me.

Rangers - Should they keep there History

I don't have anything against it. It may be a different company but the fans and history are the same. No different to if we ever went bust and came back as a new club. The company might be new but it's born of the ashes of it's previous club.
