    Atmosphere

I think everyone knows the chants in fairness (well most of them) The problem is by the time the rest of the ground has a chance to respond, the corner has stopped.

Who makes it in the Prem?

I wonder if Lampard, in his initial interview, asked Doug how he would approach a promotion situation? I agree with what you say, Lampard would not accept relegation as an option

Who makes it in the Prem?

That is true. It would be something for Doug to consider. Crystal Palace is a good example of it working out. I seem to remember them yo-yoing a bit

Who makes it in the Prem?

I suppose the question is do we take the relegation, then use £100m to build an absolute monster of a Championship team, and come back up and then stay up?

Who makes it in the Prem?

Oh I know it wouldn't be the intention for it to come across like that. I just mean we should be a bit careful, as I'm sure some of the players must look at this forum. It isn't great for them to read that their reward for getting us promoted is to be sold to Derby County

Who makes it in the Prem?

Can't help but think this is a bit disrespectful We currently have a group of players giving everything to get us promoted. They are our team for the foreseeable.

    Atmosphere

We're too good now. That is the simple truth. Atmosphere is caused by tension. There isn't any tension anymore. There hasn't been a single home game this season where we didn't look like winning. The reason the atmosphere has dropped can be linked directly to the fact that no one gets on the...

Third place is currently on a very low PPG rate. As it stands second place could be secured with just 77 points this year

Match Thread Coventry City - Bristol City FC Match Thread - Saturday 13th Dec

Ipswich aside, we're not really conceding more than 1 a game. That isn’t a massive problem if it stays like that

    Redundancy

Had it last year and had to reapply for my own job. Wish I had took the redundancy to be honest as I ended up with loads more work for no extra money. They dropped that on me two days before going on holiday so had that on my mind the whole time I was away

    Need support lads

I'm no expert by any means, but I work for a social care provider. Not in a care capacity, but work close with them so have picked up a few hints over the years on how to be with people when their mental capacity declines. Try and make things as familiar as possible for her. Get out all the old...

Everyone also needs to remember that "form" isn't two games. Standard amount of games to be considered form is 6 games. The current form of the top 6: Boro 13 pts +4 GD City 13 pts +3 GD Ipswich 11 pts +5 GD Millwall 11 pts +1 GD Hull 9 pts -2 gd PNE 7 pts 0 gd

    Championship thread 25/26!

There seems to be this weird idea that all other clubs are going to go on amazing winning runs. The most likely thing to happen is for the season to carry on the way it has in the first half. Almost half of the season has passed, and so far only us and Middlesbrough are on target to get more...

For Southampton to overtake us, we would have to completely collapse, and they have one of the best runs in Championship history.

Match Thread Preston North End FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Dec

I get the frustration, but what I don't get is the "we've blown it" attitude. How we played is now irrelevant. What is relevant is the points on the board Losing at Ipswich, and drawing at Preston does not dent our promotion chances. They are not games we should have expected to win
