Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

A lack of understanding shouldn't be a barrier to the correct course of action. Sometimes you have to reverse to advance.

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

Correct. There's a dyed in the wool assumption that support for your club should be unconditional. Absolute bollocks.

    GMK Glitch or GMK Gone?

It's been on its arse for years and recently involved about five posters who seemed to know and agree with each other....which is hardly the point or definition of a forum. Laughably, those posters regularly used to scoff at this site as if they possessed some sort of 'intellectual' kudos...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Sisu are being outflanked. It really is too late for them.

MP says a Wasps' Ricoh move would be good for city

Ainsworth is no lightweight. His understanding of hard drugs is progressive, and likely to become main stream thinking.....eventually. Similarly, I suspect his understanding of the ins and outs of Wasps moving here is significantly higher than some of the posters who have been only too happy to...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

All things considered: what would we say the market value of the Ricoh is???? It's not easy to quantify. There's also the station development and nearby hotel space?

    That could work.

Surely not? However, that might explain the stubborn thinking though Captain offers a more temperate perspective. A forum that wants to ensure its view is set in stone will, like dinosaurs, just die out.

It's down again. One of its failings down the years has to be its unreliability.

Yes, our love of the game is what unites us......but to entertain the idea that all actions are not political is naive. The less politics interferes with the game the better IMHO, but we must know that politics is critical both to its expression and enjoyment.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

There are numerous examples of footballers not accepting the "win at all costs" mantra. Of course, football, like life, isn't fair....and therefore, ultimately it isn't about winning but how you played that counts.

Some may have an agenda which is overtaken by events. I do not, your point is irrelevant. It is certainly not your job to tell, or even suggest, what any poster should be posting.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

Superficially, you might accept that but dig a bit deeper and you realise that sport is about much more than winning. Why else did Thierry Henri plaster Dublin with a poster saying "sorry"?

No, but since when has it been your role to suggest what people should or shouldnt talk about? You're not the complete package, are you?

I am sky blue through and through, have been so ever since I first attended a match, back in 1967. My respect for the city and its traditions remain undimmed by recent events or from personal circumstances which may or may not permit me to attend matches. Pertinently, I will not be "shamed"...

"Lied with" Now that is what is known as a Freudian slip. The rest of your analyais makes little sense though I get your point. The problem is that the vast majority blame Sisu for mismanaging a community asset. That remains the case.
