    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

Its not a significant quads tendon injury or he wouldn't have been able to weight bear to walk off the pitch as he could. We are most likely looking at a significant muscle or musculotendinous injury, which depedning on extent will be more like 3 months, call it 4 to get back to match fitness...

    SIGNED!!!! - Tatsuhiro Sakamoto

That silly bellend with a skull and crossbones confederate flag at the CBS last season was wearing a Specials shirt... Two tone music famously being popular with Confederacy sympathisers...

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

Thing is if you took off every player who had a niggle youd never finish the game with 11 on the pitch When you assess a player on field you are going purely by their symptoms so you have to trust the player to report accurately

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

He needs space to attack with his pace. That would be made for him by central midfielders driving forward and demanding attention from the oppo but it aint happening

    Howley to Dundee on loan

Mostly been a midfielder at youth level but first team coaches see good potential as a CB - be interesting to see where he plays for Dundee. I think Adam Barton became a CB in the Scottish league so must be doable.

    Jamie Allen

I agree RE passing range but just feel like he could add that energy and forward drive we are crying out for alongside Sheaf...

    Jamie Allen

Nobody else think Allen is an 8?? Nowhere near the quality of Hamer obviously but Id have thought he could fight with Ayari for that role when he is fit again rather than be 4th choice in behind ths strikers

    Hamer

Time to leave him be I think... He was superb for us and a class character but I honestly think he'll look back and regret his decision. It's so rare that someone gets the chance to actually be part of something special and be a genuine hero for a community. Gus could have had that with us but...

    The Replacement

I feel like a lot of fans think a good player is all stepovers and slide tackles... In reality its things like teamwork, reading the game, pass selection etc that will impress Robins and Viveash and Eccles is excellent at that side of the game. As you say these are attributes that will only get...

Their LB was giving van Ewijk a tough time verbally and physically - tonight will have been a really good learning curve for some of the new signings coming from abroad

    Football Memories

I gave the more aggressive womble to my left a forced smile which I think assuaged his suspicions To my right were two overly enthusiastic Aussie students who hardly even knew what was going on All sounds like some kind of horrendous fever dream

    Football Memories

New memory made tonight... Sat in the opposition end for the first time in my life and had to just stand there like a mug and take it as strangers hugged me in glee when their last minute winner went in. Never doing that again but one to add to the rank bank nonetheless

    Championship thread 23/24

Tbf to them throwing bricks is often used as a method of decoration in Sunderland so it may well have been some kind of peace offering
