    pictures of highfield road

Nostalgia for the old place is stronger because of our current plight: poor team, worst owners ever, etc. However, I remember HR was described as increasingly 'unfit for purpose'. I think most agreed with them at the time.

Ian Gibson, what a great player he was, remember him running rings round Bobby Moore.

THIS. Every word true. Worst 'chairperson' know to football.

Is there any kind of protest for the MK match ?

good win today, heartening to see. Then you come on here and read shit by a c**t called 'Grendel' lecturing people about 'morality'. JeezusWept

    Lets just support the team.

Death by a thousand cuts or let's start over, clean bill of health. Difficult choice, ;-)

    Lets just support the team.

That has to be right, "CHANGE" is what is required. People who continue with the mantra "support the team" are stuck in a rut which preserves the status quo. Given the law of diminishing returns it is that position which is "bonkers".

    Lets just support the team.

Haven't you even clocked yet what's happened since Sisu took over? I know you're not the full ticket but really……….. Additionally, falling gates and the views expressed here suggest most do give a fuck and also agree. ;)

    Lets just support the team.

THIS. until there is some semblance of UNITY at the club and the owners exhibit a bit of common through actions then there is no chance that I (or any fan I know) returning to the Ricoh. The Football League also, for the part they played in reducing the importance of a community asset, have...

    Like your drug addict mate?

There is no point remaining in an abusive relationship. Being taken advantage of over and over, being constantly lied to. By far the best course of action is to sever all contact as this - in the long run - will encourage a self reliance which is sustainable. Pusb

    Bradford and sheff utd

Yep. It's unbelievably sad, but too much of the trouble over past seven years has been self inflicted. For that you can only look at deplorable owners, the buck stops there.

You're a worm if you can't prove it.

    New stadium no further forward

And with no sustainable future possible how can any of us embrace the club? Sisu are toxic, they have ruined a club and until they go that cannot change.

    New stadium no further forward

Yes, you're right, Nuts. And yet the idea that Sisu can't think straight because of "hubris" which is destroying the club has no credibility. You're not at the races are you or just having an off day?

    New stadium no further forward

We could always be the first, we used to have the reputation as a pioneering club, why not?

    New stadium no further forward

The sooner CCFC is closed down the better. Sisu can never turn this around and they'll never sell due to hubris. A Phoenix club cannot work while the old one continues to go through the motions.

Where could a new stadium be?

Haha, I did a couple of days work there as a school leaver. It was like that place in Lynch's ' Eraserhead'. The air was yellow with steam and fumes with chemicals seeping thru the floors. For sure, for every year working there you lost a year of life....

    100% freehold or nothing

Hot air and bullshit. Sisu have - by her own admission - bitten off more than they could chew. Hanging on and just making things worse is proof that they haven't even figured out an exit strategy.

Alternatively, the FL should grow a pair and get involved in some 3rd party disputes whilst simply sticking to their guidelines.

    New David Conn article

Mmmmm? Some might - like Conn - try and look at the evidence in trying to work out a solution for our club. The 'burden of proof' is rarely supported by ignorance and innuendo. Until Sisu stop trying to blame others for their own failures things can never improve. That's clear to most, but in...
