    American bidder for Hearts

An American company, Club 9 Sports, have bid for Hearts. The company's website says: "Club 9 focuses on underperforming and undervalued opportunities that can be improved by a hands-on approach of providing strategic and operational counsel and leadership." Sounds a bit Sisu-esque to me, but...

    Arouna Kone

Given he has signed three players from a relegated side you have to wonder what the plan is. I can only assume he is trying to add a bit of depth. Clearly he knows the guys and there is an argument Everton need a striker and a spare centre back, and I assume Robles has been signed as a long-term...

Nikki Sinclair on CWR after 7 this morning

Yep. Not Pukka. We won't be able to clear the £70million debt for at least 3 years.

joe elliot has resigned as life president

Or, thinking wildly optimistically, he is about to attempt a hostile takeover - wouldn't that put Joe in a conflict of interest position if he didn't resign?

Nikki Sinclair on CWR after 7 this morning

In the piece before the interview, the bloke they interviewed from Northampton said their food and beverage suppliers will be running that at Cov games. It sounds like Mr Fisher won't be able to "sweat" that during the 3-5 years of that agreement.

Is this board infested with SISU?

Oi, you lot, how dare you let this conversation degenerate into a discussion on football! :D

    Temporary ground share

You're not doubting Mr Fisher's own words are you? :o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBNwemL7NOw about 11 minutes 49 seconds in.

    Temporary ground share

Fisher said on CWR this morning that the deal for three seasons with two possible one year extensions had been done and that it would be too expensive to back out now. I'll leave it up to you to decide how much weight you give to that statement.

    "Home", attendance

Looking at Brighton's attendance figures, as probably the closest example of what is happening to us, in their darkest hour (1997-98) they had an average attendance of 2,329 in the fourth tier. That was 9.2 per cent of their highest average attendance in the previous generation - 25,265 in 1978...

Coventry belong in Coventry. The club should be an integral part of the community and if it behaves responsibly within that community I would expect other parts of that community to work with it to help it.

    Commons motion on Sky Blues

An EDM is essentially a petition and unlikely to be debated in the house. Therefore, its significance is to make a point and gain a feel for the mood of other members. Beyond that, more signatures may garner more press coverage, but that's about the limit of it.

In this hypothetical scenario I would not call you hysterical for saying you would not trust Richardson with the stadium. The actions of his board when he was here have put an element of doubt in your mind. Similarly, I have no idea what Sisu would do with the Ricoh if they got hold of it but...

Torch, purely hypothetical I know, but would you trust Bryan Richardson with the Ricoh if he was to suddenly buy Coventry City from Sisu and put in an offer for the ground?

    Commons motion on Sky Blues

I'm sure you're all clever enough to know this, but I'll say it just in case: Be careful how you comment on this thread. Bob Ainsworth MP is afforded a degree of legal protection in a Parliamentary motion to say what he has that you may discover does not extend to you if you were to repeat it.

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

I won't reply to every point as the shortage of publicly available information means there will be a myriad of different views on our situation and we could go back and forth forever, but a couple of notes: I accept that maybe I did not make my point about investment as well as I could have...
