As did Robins. Our rise is as remarkable as any, when you consider the circumstances.

It was enough to point out the irony.

    *I'd have taken them.

Neither am I. In fact, the only comment I can see in this discussion to him being a shit manager is one from you saying, 'shit manager according to some'. So I've no idea who you're referring to.

Why does everything have to be so black and white with you? He's competent enough to achieve promotion when he can wildly outspend his opponents and is able to bring in players above the level he's playing at. Beyond that, who can say how good he is.

Aye. It's an achievement, clearly, but the amount they've been able to outspend their rivals, it would have been significant failure not to get their promotions. Some described him as being 'backed financially' up thread; that's a significant understatement. They've been bank-rolled. It's like...

I agree with you. I've said several times you should always pick the strongest team possible.

They were forced changes. It wasn't just that, either; as well as three of the back four not fit to start, we only had Grimes and Allen available to start in the middle; that wasn't the right combination for a physical team like Wrexham. A more robust midfield and you can protect the defence...

I agree that he was always better than Binks. However, there were three reds in that first season, and several clangers. He was also prone to giving away silly free kicks around the area, which showed a general lack of discipline. This has gone; since he's come back into the team, and...

I don't think it was ridiculous. His first season, despite some positive moments, he could be a bit of a liability. Something clearly went on there, so who knows what would have happened without the managerial change, but I'd argue the time out of the team did him good. Sometimes it works...

We would have been better off with Robins

Team spirit's generally down to winning, but from the start of Robins' tenure to now, having a good dressing room is something that's been spoken of by a lot of our players, past and present. The recruitment team clearly pay a lot of attention to a player's personality as well as their...

No chance. That's when we'll be bitten on the arse. We pick the strongest team we can and give them the respect they deserve.

Pretty sure some reporter got sacked for that exact same simile in the past. So as well as pathetically crass, it's also plagiarised.

I think more often they get beaten by our goals.

I think the most impressive thing about that was that against an opponent who absolutely had the bit between their teeth, were playing well, and we'd just handed a crazy equaliser to, we didn't buckle.

No, that was a top-quality finish. Absolutely what he intended.
