I’ve gone back and said original offer or move on. Didn’t think to suggest bluffing with another offer on the table but hopefully agents would have done that anyway. Hopefully they turn round and reinstate the original offer knowing we won’t budge. Thanks for the advice

Agreed a sale last week and the guy buying it has said his wife isn’t happy with the price and wants £5k more off. Why agree on the first place? If it’s a tactic it’s poor form IMO Already started viewing, falling in love and putting offers in on properties. Feeling deflated!

Agreed - and you'd probably still hesitate even if you're offered more money than you're currently on. These guys are uprooting families, moving further from loved ones, a whole manner of different things come into play.
