Depends what you mean by "real value". The figure in the accounts will be the cost of the investment (subject to any diminution test) - this may or may not bear any resemblance to realiseable value.

I think that in the circumstances, it was the correct thing to do to make a statement. The point is that the circumstances should never have arisen.

"Our means" were chosen by our owners when they decided to relocate to Northampton.

I think a lot of it was also down to the memories. I can remember many great games at Highfield Road, watching players like Curtis, Mortimer, Carr, Hutchison, Ferguson & Wallace, Oggy, Peake, Regis, Dublin etc etc, but no really strong memories at the Ricoh. Probably partly down to age...

Might the ticket prices be higher at Nuneaton as well?
