The figure in the accounts will be the cost of the investment (subject to any diminution test) - this may or may not bear any resemblance to realiseable value.

I think a lot of it was also down to the memories.
I can remember many great games at Highfield Road, watching players like Curtis, Mortimer, Carr, Hutchison, Ferguson & Wallace, Oggy, Peake, Regis, Dublin etc etc, but no really strong memories at the Ricoh.
Probably partly down to age...
I did actually say to my Dad after the game, that in a way it would be a pity that we'd only be there for one season, because it'd make a pleasant change winning all the time.

I went to Wembley twice with Telford Utd.
Interesting (well.....) story there - in 1970, the week before the FA Cup Final Telford wearing white lost to Macclesfield wearing blue. The following week, Chelsea beat Leeds (after a replay) In 1971, Telford wearing yellow shirts...
