Correct. It changed in about 1980. Before that, gate receipts were broadly split, with the home club taking a larger % to cover the costs of putting on the match. I remember Jimmy Hill saying it was a bad change as it would make the bigger clubs richer and widen the gap with the smaller clubs.

According to a quick Google search (always reliable...), QPR away capacity is 2,500. Maybe another 500 tickets could be requested by the club?
