I get that, but the lack of impact from Simms and Wright is a massive issue. I'm not talking about goals (or lack of them) I'm concerned about a lack of general quality and work rate. If they were playing well and working hard but not scoring I'd be happy and be patient etc, but I've seen...

Yes, I'm concerned about Wright too. I think he's better than Simms (just) but he's nowhere neat good enough for this league. You could argue that Simms is still young and can learn to improve I guess, but Wright is a big concern.

Go and watch his performance against Exeter, (yes it was a meaningless friendly that meant fuck all) he was shite, and he hasn't improved, he went from first choice to third choice out of three in less that 4 games, if we can bring in another striker in Jan, then he doesn't make the...

Agreed. The issue here is that people on SBT are frightened to admit the blindingly obvious.

He had a 17 game spell at Sunderland (7 goals) that has influenced everyone's opinion of him, the reality is he's a poor footballer. If you look at Mark McNulty and judge him on 5 months here, he'd be world class, but the reality is he's failed everywhere else. My biggest fear is that...

No he hasn't! He scored 7 goals in a loan spell at Sunderland where they played everything through him. Other than that he's done fuck all. Like McNulty at every club other than here for 6 months.

Simms had a little purple patch of 7 goals in 17 matches at this level, and 1 goal in 11 matches in the Premier league. It's actually a myth that he's proven in the championship. Much the same as Mcnulty who had a good half a season in his entire career.

I know, we'd be lucky to get anywhere near that.

Godden had a poor game against Leicester that's for sure. But Simms is just a poor player.

I'd play Sakamoto and Allen upfront before trying Wright and Simms. At least we know Sakamoto and Allen can play football.

Unlikely. But that's because they've been unbelievably shite, and no other mugs will pay anything like what we have.

Did you see Simms miss the chance of the game?

1 win in 6, 3 shite strikers, piss poor use of subs, no tactical awareness. It's criminal that Simms gets a run out while Sakamoto is a spectator as our midfield is over run. I slated Allen last season, but I'd welcome him back with open arms now. Can't wait for O'hare to return...

He wasn't good today that's for sure, but if we do create a chance, I'd sooner Godden get it that the other two clowns. We desperately need 2 new strikers in Jan, and hopefully we can off load Simms and Wright to some mugs and cut our losses

I can only judge on what I've seen so far, and alarm bells have been ringing for a few games now. How long are we going to give him before it's OK to make a judgement? I get no pleasure in saying it, but I'm worried we've bought a dud. Gyokeres took quite a few games to get off the mark...

WTF does that even mean? He's fucking woeful. Wright isn't any better. To be honest I'd start Godden as a lone striker (as hes the best of a piss poor bunch) and play 2 attacking midfielders supporting him. But tbf, never mind a Hamer replacement, we desperately need 2 strikers in Jan.

Based on what we've seen so far we've just spunked £10 million up.the wall, Wright and Simms look shite, I know it's early days and they need to gell and blar blar blar, and I hate to say it, we are desperate for a striker that can hold the ball up.

Agreed, both were fucking awful, Godden not much better, we struggled to get decent service to them, but we need way more from our £10 million pound strike force than that shite. MR fucked up by not going 1 up and bolstering the midfield, we just chucked 2 points away tonight which is so...

MR fucked that up, it was crying out for 1 upfront and Sakamoto into midfield, I can't believe we left 2 up top while we got over run. The equaliser was just a matter of time. 2 points thrown away thanks to tactical stupidity.
