at the time of the ground originally was being built, to improve spirits in the local community, all the local streets created teams and played in a football round-robin tournament on gosford green, the winner of which would have their street name used for the new ground.

i actually quite liked it - imagine some flame as the players walk out, its better than, "when the sky is blue" or any other trash we've had over the years!
